1) SUDHA MURTHY

Sudha Murthy began her professional career in computer science and engineering. She is the
chairperson of the Infosys Foundation and a member of public health care initiatives of the Gates
Foundation. She has founded several orphanages, participated in rural development efforts,
supported the movement to provide all Karnataka government schools with computer and library
facilities, and established '

The Murthy Classical Library of India' at Harvard University. Murthy initiated a bold move to
introduce computer and library facilities in all schools in Karnataka & taught computer science.
She got "Best Teacher Award" in 1995 from Rotary Club at Bangalore. Murthy is best known for
her social work and her contribution to literature in Kannada and English. Dollar Sose (English:
Dollar Daughter-in-Law), a novel originally authored by her in Kannada and later translated into
English as Dollar Bahu, was adapted as a televised dramatic series by Zee TV in 2001.[6] Sudha
Murthy has also acted in the Marathi film Pitruroon and the Kannada film Prarthana. She has
also appeared in Kaun Banega Crorepati season 11 in its Karamveer episode of finale week.
2) KIRAN MAZUMDAR SHAW

Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw (born 23 March 1953) is an Indian billionaire entrepreneur. She is the
chairperson and managing director of Biocon Limited, a biotechnology company based in
Bangalore, India and the chairperson of Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. In 2014, she
was awarded the Othmer Gold Medal for outstanding contributions to the progress of science and
chemistry.

She is on the Financial Times’ top 50 women in business list. In 2019, she is listed as the 65th
most powerful woman in the world by Forbes. She again featured on the list - the most powerful
women in the world - in 2016 and 2017 at 77 th and 71st positions respectively.
3) CHANDA KOCHHAR

Chanda Kochhar (née Advani, born 17 November 1961) is the former MD and chief executive
officer of ICICI Bank. However, on 4 October 2018 she stepped down from her position
following allegations of corruption.

Amidst investigations related to Videocon bad loans, she was forced by the board of ICICI Bank
to take indefinite leave. The Central Bureau of Investigation named Chanda Kochhar and her
husband as beneficiaries in the financial fraud.

The Justice B N Shrikrishna probe panel reported that Kochhar had violated ICICI Bank's Code
of Conduct, following which her service was terminated with all her entitlements and benefits
revoked. After her exit, Sandeep Bakhshi, who was the interim Managing Director and CEO
became the full-time MD and CEO.
4) INDU JAIN

Indu Jain belongs to the Sahu Jain family and is the current chairperson of India's largest media
group, Bennett, Coleman & Co. Ltd., which owns the Times of India and other large newspapers.

According to Forbes 2015 rankings, Indu Jain had a net worth of $3.1 billion and was ranked
57th-richest person in India and 549th-richest person in the world.

Indu jain was awarded the padma bhushan by the government of india in January 2016.
5) INDRA NOOYI

Indra Nooyi (née Krishnamurthy; born 28 October 1955) is an Indian American business
executive and former CEO of PepsiCo. She has consistently ranked among the world's 100 most
powerful women. In 2014,

she was ranked at number 13 on the Forbes list of The World's 100 Most Powerful Women, and
was ranked the 2nd most powerful woman on the Fortune list in 2015. She serves on the board of
Amazon, the International Cricket Council, and Schlumberger.
6) SUCHI MUKHERJEE

Suchi Mukherjee born 1973 Nationality (Indian) Occupation-Founder and CEO of LimeRoad
Suchi Mukherjee is an Indian businesswoman who is founder and CEO of LimeRoad, an e-
commerce and lifestyle and accessories website. She conceived the idea of LimeRoad when she
was 39 and on maternity leave.

She serves on the board of Amazon, the International Cricket Council, and Schlumberger.
Mukherjee started her professional journey with Lehman Brothers Inc in 1998. She joined
Virgin Media in 2003 as the Director of Change and Business Development. She worked for
eBay Inc., then was the Director and a member of Executive Management Team at Skype. She
then was the Managing Director of Gumtree for more than two years.

She said, "You need the fighter gene to succeed and that requirement is gender agnostic."

Suchi Mukherjee lives in Haryana with her husband and two children.
