Objectives:
With the completion of this course, students should possess a comprehensive knowledge
of the anatomy of the skeletal, muscular, neural, and cardiorespiratory systems. From
this knowledge base, students will be able to apply the various anatomical structures to
their respective functions. In addition, the student should be able to integrate all systems
for movement analysis.

Required Text: There is no required text. Most up to date anatomy texts and online
information will provide the relevant material. Suggested texts are listed below.

Assessment:
Sessional Exam: 20% on structural levels and systems of the body, directions,
planes, axes, tissues, skeletal and articular systems
Movement Analysis: 10%
Sessional Exam: 20% on muscular and nervous systems
Lab Exam: 20% in exam schedule (included with the final exam) on all
laboratories
Final Exam: 30% in exam schedule approximately mid to late April on
cardiovascular and respiratory systems
