Philippines is one of the countries that has technologies that are not technically “advance” yet
unlike other countries like the US, China, Russia, and etc and in fact we are one of the countries
that is poor. Technologies help us in many ways the simple definition of a Technology is
something that reduces a man’s effort and with efficiency and that makes task easy and reduces
the amount of time that the task will take. The Philippine Development Plan of 2017-2020 has 3
foundations that will hold the plan in order for it to be a successful plan for the country and this
are: more inclusive growth, high trust society, and globally competitive economy. More inclusive
growth in this foundation the highlight is the development of facilities, services, equipment, or
items that will help the people in the society to have an easy way of living and helps them to
reduce effort with comfortability for example is the LRT it will help the Filipino people to reach
their destination fast and comfortably without experiencing any traffic or inconvenience. High
trust society, with the trust and support of the Filipino people with the PDP 2017-2020 will help
motivate the people who are making the actions for the success of the PDP 2017-2020 and the
cooperation of the Filipino people will also help the development of the plan. Globally
competitive economy means our economy has the same competency or the “level” of economy
of other countries like the USA, China, and etc. that we can also have a “good fight” with other
countries in terms of the technology and also how develop the country is.
The PDP 2017-2020 also wants to decrease the percentage of people experiencing poverty by
providing or creating more job opportunity for the people, increases the income especially for
the people in the “laylayan”, decreases the unemployment of the Filipino people. The PDP 2017-
2020 also wants to further develop the level of education that helps the Filipino people who are
studying to be more skilled in their desired dreams and have a global level of competency and
also wants them to have a greater drive for innovation. The PDP 2017-2020 also wants for the
Filipino people to have greater trust in the government and in society, to be more resilient for
individuals and communities, and ensure people-centered, clean, and efficient governance.
