DATA ANALYSIS AND INTERPRETATION

1. Gender of respondents

Interpretation: From the above Pie Chart we can see that, in my research there are 65% of male
and 35% of Female have given their input.

2. What is your age group?


Interpretation: Interpretation: From the above Pie Chart we can see that, there are 27% of
people who belongs to the age group of 20-25, 35% belongs to 25-30, 21% belongs to 30-35,
13% belongs to 35-40 & 4% belongs to 40 and Above.

3. What is your Annual Income?


Interpretation: From the above Pie Chart we can see that, 36% of the people belongs to Less
than 1 Lac category, 43% of people belongs between 1 Lac & 2.5 Lac Category, 14% belongs
to the category of 2.5 Lac & 5 Lac and 7% people beongs to the category of Above 5 Lac.

4. From Last how many years you are doing Investment?


Interpretation: From the above Pie Chart we can see that, more than 49% people invest for
less than 2 years, 28% People invest for 3 to 5 Years, 20% people invest for 5 to 10 years
and only 3% of people invest for more than 10 years.

5. How much return are you getting?


Interpretation: From the above Pie Chart we can see that, 22% people are getting returns
from Bank, 17% people are getting returns from insurance, 26% peoples are getting returns
from Mutual Funds, 18% people are getting returns from Real Estate, 11% people are
getting returns from Equity and 6% are getting Returns from Government security.

Interpretation: From the above Pie Chart we can see that, 11% of people invests in
Government Security, 23% of People invest in Insurance, 21% of people invests in Mtual
Funds, 9% of people invests in Equity, 31% of people invests in Real Estate and 5% people
invests in Other investment plans.

Interpretation: From the above Pie Chart we can see that, 37% people invests for Saftey
purpose, 13% people invests for saving tax, 41% people invests for Good Returns and 9%
people invests for Capital Appreciation.

Interpretation: From the above Pie Chart we can see that, 46% people invests for Long Term,
21% people invests for Short Term and 33% of people invests for Middle Term.

Interpretation: From the above Pie Chart we can see that, 11% people are ready to assume
risk in Bank, whereas 16% in Government security, 22% in insurance, 19% in Mutual
Funds, 12% in Equity and 20% in Real Estate.

Interpretation: From the above Pie Chart we can see that, 64% of people have opted for SIP
and only 36% of people have oppted for Lump Sum.

Interpretation: From the above Pie Chart we can see that, 28% people have selected SIP for
long term purpose, 42% people have selected SIP for monthly savings, 22% people have
selected SIP to reduce risk of fluct and 8% people have selected SIP for other investment..

Interpretation: From the above Pie Chart we can see that,12% people have opted lumpsum
for short period investment, 65% people have opted lumpsum for greater returns and 23%
people have opted lumpsum to take the advantage of Arbitrage.

Interpretation: From the above Pie Chart we can see that, 58% people expect Good Returns
from HDFC Mutual Funds, 9% People expect Monthly Statement, 15% people expect High
Dividend and 18% people expect Safety.

money in Mutual Funds whereas 44% people still not invested their money in Mutual
Funds.

Funds and 54% people like to invest in Private funds.

Interpretation: From the above Pie Chart we can see that, 66% people have recevied
Positive response from Mutual Funds and 34% people have Negative response from Mutual
Funds.

Interpretation: From the above Pie Chart we can see that, 72% people are aware about
Mutual Funds as an Investment Scheme and 28% are not aware about about it.
