I had really a great time during my Christmas vacation.

I got the chance to spend it with the people I

treasure the most and a lot of good things happened to me also. Mama decided to spend our Christmas
in my Lola's province but papa didn't come with us since he is really one of a kill joy person and he said
that he'll be guarding the house. We have no choice but to leave him and decided to go to San Roque.

December 24, 2019

It was lunch time when we arrived at Lola's place, my sister and I decided to go to sleep since we are
really tired from the travel. When I woke up I saw my cousins playing and my Tito's preparing the
Lechon. It was raining so hard that time plus it's really cold that's why I decided to stay inside. During
dinner, we already prepare the foods that we will be having later for the Noche Buena. After dinner, I
washed all the dishes and decided to sleep again. When I woke up, I saw Mama, Lola and my Tita
cooking the lechon again because they said that it was not cooked yet. I was amazed on how they
managed to put it back into the stick and they started to cook it again. Everyone's excited and when it's
time for the Noche Buena, we all shouted and hugged each other. I just can't help but to be sad a little
bit because papa was not there, but I managed to smile the moment I saw the foods that are prepared in
the table plus seeing my Lola, mama, tita and my sister makes me happy.

December 25, 2019

We went back to Surigao and the moment I went home I saw papa and he smiled at me. I was so
shocked because he went after me, kissed my cheeks and greeted me “Merry Christmas.” That was the
first time papa did that to me. In the afternoon, we went to Gaisano. In night, I was really happy because
my family gathered together and we had fun.

New year is fast approaching and I am really excited for it. I badly want to went out the house because I
am really bored plus the fact that Mama always let me do the house chores and all.

December 31, 2019

Few more minutes and we will welcome another year. At 7 pm, we all went to the church for the mass
and I really love the homily. After the mass, we went home and Mama prepared the foods. I was lying in
my bed while playing Mobile Legends even though I am not really good at playing it and had a little chit
chat with my Auntie’s. Sir Lumpay chatted me and the he told me “Party ta nak”, he was talking about
the game and I laughed so hard because I am not a professional and not that good at playing it. Few
more hours and then it’s 2020! I finished the game and went out the room and went to the living room
and took some pictures. Since my Mommy and her family are just beside our house we took a picture all
together and went outside for the countdown.

12:00 am. Happy new year! All of us were shouting and laughing so loud. I tried to jump but I refuse to
do it since I am tired and I’m contented already with what I am doing. We all went inside and then we
eat and had some chit chatting.
New Year’s Day

It’s a new day, a new chapter and a new beginning! As a tradition of our family, we had a party and all of
my cousins, aunts and uncles were there. We had a program, my cousins danced and sang. We did
exchanging gift and we really had fun. As usual, we eat and had some chit chats. I received many gifts
from my cousins and mama. The only thing is that, I received sexy dresses. And I was having thoughts if I
should wear it or nah. But I told myself that this is the sign for me to get fit. I mentally laughed at my
thoughts and I have no choice but to wear it. There’s nothing holding me back, I said to myself. Being
with my family during Christmas and New year is so nice. I got the chance to spend my break with them
before going back to school.
