Despite efforts in the last few decades to stabilize populaton growth, the
state's populaton contnues to grow at a much faster rate than the natonal
populaton. The rato of the rural and urban populaton is approx 84:16. In
parat village average household size is 7 and number of household is
approx 750, which is expanding at the rate of 8% approx and 8 tmes more
than natonal growth.
Total Fertlity Rate (TFR) is 3.4 which means average number of children
that would be born to a woman by the tme she ended childbearing. Ideally
it should be between 2.1 to 2.4. Only 76.8 percent of Pregnant Women
received an Antenatal Check-up Check-ups. Deliverie conducted at any
Insttututon, Govenment or Private is 53.4% , Deliveries conducted at
Home by Skill Birht Attendant or Tranined Birth Attendant is 46.4 %. The
probability that a newborn baby will die before reaching age 5, expressed as
a number per 1000 live births is 84. The number of women who die as a
result of pregnancy and child birth complicatons per 100,000 live births in a
given year is 282 .
From the survey we come to know that some of the major health problems
in parat village are Diabetes type 1, Tuber culosis , Heart and Retnal
degeneraton , Malaria, Paralysis, Spinal cord Injuries, Road Accident,
Malnutriton,HIV/Aids.
