-Kids who come to this particular school are from tribal and rural areas. Their parents are not educated
and their family conditions are critical. These kids have immense potential and they need someone to
show them the right career path as per their capabilities. Once they understand the actual importance
of education, they’ll in turn guide others and it will help the society as a whole in becoming aware

12. Key Takeaways from the project.

a. Contribution to ones’ self.
We realized the importance of being grateful for all the amenities which we have. Despite taking
education all these years, we realized the importance of it when we interacted with these
children. Getting a way out of every problem is possible we just need a will to do so. These
children have inspired us to think in these directions.
b. How would this project help in enhancing your career goals?
Completing this project in a small time frame is a big challenge so we drafted it accordingly which
helped us plan the available resources accordingly. Making the most out of what we have helped
us learn optimization of the resources. We ourselves had to brush up our skills before teaching the
kids. It made us think of the innovative activities to help the students interact. We as a team had
different opinions as individuals so this made us accept of our differences and helped us reach to a
common goal and taught us team work.

c. Views on how this project contributes to the welfare of the society?

Children from the rural area will be aware of the career opportunities and will gain some
additional knowledge apart from their designed curriculum. They will not settle for low income
jobs and work towards making the most of their potential by choosing a career path of their
choice and not something which was forced due to lack of knowledge. This will help them grow
personally along with their families and they can then contribute to others from their area in the
similar way.
13. Any other information you wish to share

7
This particular project will help them gain the understanding of the career opportunities and the
skills required for those but there needs some efforts to convince their parents to help these kids in
choosing more education instead of settling for low income jobs.

In the whole process we came across some really talented students who were quick in grasping the
concepts discussed as well as possess some extra-curricular skills which if honed properly will
hugely benefit them in progressing in life.

14. Plans for the next semester

-To select potential students from High school and make them prepare for different competitive
exams
-Continue to work in building the confidence among the students and creating awareness in
academics
-To include different sports activities
-Conduct different sport activity and find good candidates and train them for different sports
-To impart hands on training on how to use a computer in day to day life.
