NARRATIVE REPORT ON WRITESHOP ON YLEAD MANUAL

Youth Leadership Enhancement and Development Project introduced by Ma’am Paula S.

Meneses, the SGOD – Youth Formation Program Coordinator.
This project aims to produce an individual who will be the next generation leader of our
country. An individual with strong core values (Maka – Diyos, Maka – Kalikasan, Maka – Tao, at
Maka – Bansa) will fuel himself to unleash his full potential as a human being in this journey,
called LIFE.
She also added, having the assumption that every individual is created as a leader, the only
difference is the timing of unleashing the individual’s leadership skills and potentials through
intentional training.
A polluted generation will surely be the “cancer” of this nation. Many presumed, the youth
today are the problem of our country, a sad reality, this youth composes mostly of the population
of our society.
These are the following Long-term Effect of this YLEAD Project
a. We will be having a group of people who are ready to work and serve for the betterment
of our country having the DepEd Core Values embedded in them and strategic direction of
the DepEd community.
b. Produce committed, competent and courageous community leaders.
It is about time to train young leaders, who will be embedded by the DepEd Core Values
cultivated to become a Young-Leader ready to reach out their “Kapwa-Youth”.
In the interim, Paula S. Meneses formally launched the Writeshop on Youth Leadership
Enhancement and Development on December 17 by welcoming the writers through an opening
program facilitated by Mr. Ronel Francisco, SSG Federated Officer with the supervision of Ms.
Cristina Santos and the QATAME’s. After two-days of hardwork and cooperation the Writeshop
on Youth Leadership Enhancement and Development was formally concluded on December 18,
2019 expressing gratitude to individuals who actively participate in making the manual
