Early Morning Splash Academy Services

SCOPE - To provide consistency for staff and guests in arranging for early morning Splash Academy drop off
outside of program morning opening hours.

DETAILS

1.0 Early Morning Club for services before 8:00a.m.

1.1 Reservation is required by 11pm the evening before the service is needed
1.2 The fee of $6.00 per child/per hour and $4.00 per sibling/per hour will apply
1.3 If the child stays after 8:00a.m., the guest is not charged an additional $6.00 for supervision during
Breakfast; however the hourly fee for the child/sibling still applies
1.4 Cancelation is needed by 11pm the evening before otherwise a one hour the fee will apply/per child
1.5 This service is open to any guest on itineraries where the ship docks before 8:00am

2.0 Breakfast Club 8:00a.m.

2.1 Reservation is required by 11pm the evening before the service is needed
2.2 The $6.00 fee is charged to the guest onboard account for the supervision of the child during the meal
2.3 Cancelation is needed by 11pm the evening before otherwise the meal fee will apply
2.4 This service is open to any guest on itineraries where the ship docks before 9:00am

3.0 Morning of Requests for Early Morning Club or Breakfast Club

3.1 A one-time fee of $15.00 applies to the guest for requesting to open the facility the morning of arrival into
port before 9:00a.m; unless the facility is already opened.
3.2 Additionally, the fee of $6.00 per child/per hour and $4.00 per sibling/per hour will apply
3.3 If the child stays after 8:00a.m., the guest is not charged an additional $6.00 for supervision during
Breakfast; however the hourly fee for the child/sibling still applies
3.4 The staff needs 20 minutes to open the center
3.5 This service is open to any guest on itineraries where the ship docks before or at 9:00am

4.0 YPM/Shore Excursions Courtesy

4.1 To avoid any early morning confusion or unhappy guests, the YPM should bring a framed sign to the
Shore Excursion Desk with a reminder of the Early Morning Splash Academy drop off policy.
“Guests are required to make a reservation with Splash Academy at least 24 hours in advance the night
before the morning the services are needed. Fees will apply. If there are no reservations, Splash
Academy will open at 9:00a.m.”

5.0 If there are no reservations, Splash Academy will open at 9:00a.m.

6.0 Staffing
A minimum of two staff members must be scheduled for Early Morning Splash Academy Services.
