Modifications • I would like to deviate a little from the syllabus to a curriculum approach. • I assume along with the knowledge on health you would like to learn some basic skills as much as possible in an online course. • I would like to move beyond just lectures on the topics listed to give some related skills. • I need the concurrence at least a few or those who are participating before I move in that direction. • Could you please enter in the chat box that this change is acceptable to you? • Do I have your concurrence to move forward in this direction? Systems • Your course begins with the word SYSTEMS • I will be emphasising this term more during this course. • This curriculum is also based on a systems approach to planning. • The following is the template of the systems to this course. Some tips to effective learning • Participation in online learning is the best. • It is clear from experience that a number are unable to attend online. • Almost all participants are able to use the PPTs provided and follow up adequately. • You need to note the areas which I indicate is important and where I am laying emphasis. They are very specific. Focus on those without ignoring other areas. • There are 2 long answer questions and 5 short answer questions in the midterm and 3 long answer and 5 short answer in the comprehensive exams. This means it covers almost the entire list of topics. Conclusion • I assume you are clear with this systems approach to what I have planned. • If you have any questions please indicate by clicking your hand symbol • Alternately you can enter into chat box anytime during the presentation. • Those who are missing the live presentation can still respond by responding through email.
