● We will not have spelling homework this week
because of a the short week. Multiplication
practice will be coming home instead.
● This week we will begin our “Protect Young Eyes”
curriculum about technology and safety.

We are going to have a great day of
learning at Blandford on Thursday! The
majority of the day we will be in the
school house and pioneer cabin. Please
send snow clothes though- because our
recess time will be spent outside in the
snow! Also- microwaves will not be
available for lunch time. We will bring
our milk.

What We’re Learning

Bible: We are continuing our study
of Moses.
Reading: Students will begin using
their reading strategies to research
a Native American tribe. We will
also be reading biographies of
famous African Americans.
Social Studies: We are going to
do some amazing hands on
learning about pioneer life at
Blandford Nature Center.
Math: We are wrapping up
our addition and subtraction
unit this week with word
problems. Students will have a
quiz on Wednesday.
Science: We will be reviewing
all of the learning we’ve done
about evaporation,
condensation, weather, and
climate.
