♪ LISTEN TO THE MODEL RESPONSE:

Response 1: I prefer to work alone rather than work in a group. The first reason is that I get
distracted in a group and can’t concentrate on the job at hand as easy. I like to concentrate on my
work and not be bothered by other workers. I feel I can do a better job if I work on something solo
rather than with a group. I feel much more creative when I can be in a silent work space. The second
reason is that I want more creative control on a project. I don’t like relinquishing control to others. I
like to be in charge of my ideas and cultivate them the way that I think they should be cultivated.
Working alone allows me to formulate my ideas to the fullest and control how the final product comes
out. So I’d definitely prefer to work alone rather than work in a group.

Response 2: I would much rather work in a group. One main reason is that if I don’t have another
person there pushing me, then I get distracted too easily. Often I have projects to do alone, but can’t
get started, or can’t stay working on them consistently. I get distracted and wander off to complete
another task. While I can be self-motivated, there are times it is hard for me to get motivated to start
working on a project. The other main reason why I like working with a group is that I find it much
easier to brain storm for ideas. When you have several people with different personalities all talking
together and trying to figure things out, I really enjoy having someone else to talk to and mulling over
