Chris Power-Gomez

CV

Chris Power-Gomez is a true Visionary.

Forty years as a leader in creative development, culminating with CCO positions. Power-Gomez led
brand/ marketing programs for some of the most successful businesses in the world.

A unique combination of classical training and entrepreneurial experience for start-ups and
Fortune-five; he transformed ideas into multi million-dollar revenue streams.

Power-Gomez attended UCLA with a degree in visual Communication. An artist to the core, he was
the ‘National Child Protege High School Artist of the year’ - an elite award from the Ford Foundation
which yielded his full scholarship. When transitioning from Art Director to Creative Director as part of
his career path, Chris embraced the linguistics-side - ultimately becoming known for his extraordinary
abilities to meld ‘words and pictures’ only few in his industry have achieved.

With his work for MetroMedia Television, Power-Gomez was instrumental in creating what is now
television syndication; with the formulation and replication for broadcasting ‘The Nancy Drew and
Hardy Boys Mysteries’ television series.

Chris was also a key member of the group that in support of original creative material successfully
lobbied for and brought to fruition default Federal Copyright laws.

In his decade-long tenure in entertainment as Art Director of MGM/UA and Cannon films he created
brands and marketing for forty-two motion pictures… his show title ‘Runaway Train’ for Golan Globas
(Cannon Films) received an Academy Award nomination. He was a pioneer at successfully bringing
Broadway Theater to Los Angeles - his first initiative sold one-million dollars in advanced ticket sales
for La Cage Aux Folles. Further success with Cats, Evita, 42nd street and more.
Chris then spent two-decades with the global advertising firms in the Wilshire Corridor; Ogilvy &
Mather, Grey Worldwide, Bozel Pacific, Chiat Day - leading creative teams as Creative Director on
National and Fortune 5 accounts; many are now a household name as a result.

Arguably one-of the ten best, most prolific brand developers in the world; Power-Gomez brands are
recognized world-wide - some two hundred. Notable top-tier consumer brands include Gotch’a,
Sketchers Shoes, No Fear and Conroy’s/ 1-800-Flowers. His work advanced many others including
Disney, MTV, TRW, Hyatt, Hilton, Citicorp, Honda, Apple, GM and more.

In 2010 Chris' life drastically changed - as a pedestrian in a crosswalk in Westlake Village CA, Chris was
struck-down by an 84 passenger bus traveling at 35mph. After crashing-through the windshield and
being launched into the air… he landed forty-feet down the road deceased. EMT’s and first
responders revived and stabilized - a lengthy coma followed. He awoke with only fragmented memory
of his life, many physical disabilities and Traumatic Brain Injury, which he struggles with everyday.
Two-years of intense recover in-sued; having to relearn the basics of life… walking, talking, breathing
and swallowing.

Chris returned to business in 2015.

Its been a long road. Nine-years later, Power-Gomez is again a premier brand creator, and heads-up

PUBLISHING & licensing

Chris is the founder/ publisher of Autolife/ Automobile Lifestyles Magazine & Flip Magazine - a
lifestyles magazine for homeowners. Both are part of a new initiative, offered as Content Marketing
Magazines in 2020.

Power-Gomez sees them as powerful solutions to Car Dealers, and home improvement industry
companies in off-setting weaknesses in Digital Marketing's ability to communicate to their local
community.

Autolife Magazine is a result of Chris Power-Gomez’ love for cars. During his thirty-five years as a
senior executive in the creative space he launched many magazines, and now he mixes his creative
brilliance and automotive love in the pages of Automobile Lifestyles Magazine.

Power-Gomez is a driver. Growing up in Malibu Canyon had Chris honing his driving skills since he was
fifteen – through mulholland on anything that had wheels. He raced Open-wheel dirt track from
quarter midgets through sprint cars. His road racing scca experience continues today with a BMW mfg.
supported drive. His motorcycle racing career started at fifteen at Ascot Raceway, racing flat track.
That continued with Motorcross until finishing High School. He enjoys driving his ‘drivers’, a Saleen/
Ford Racing Mustang canyon car, and an Audi RS5. He also enjoys carving canyons on his Aprilia RSV
