Cleansing Prayer

Heavenly Father,
in the Name of Jesus Christ
our Lord and Savior,
by the power of the Holy Spirit,
we pray that the cleansing power
of the precious blood of your Son
come upon us right now.

Purify us and wash us clean

with the blood of Jesus
from the top of our heads
down to the very soles of our feet.

Let this blood penetrate

the very marrow of our bones
to cleanse us
from any entanglement
from whatever spirit
we have come in contact with
during the course of our intercession.

Anoint us with the gifts

of the Holy Spirit
and refresh our body,
soul, and spirit.
And may the sign
of your holy cross
drive away all evil spirits from us.
In the Name of the Father
and of the Son
and of the Holy Spirit.
Amen.

Prayer To Ward Away Spiritual Disturbance

 O glorious Saint Michael
the Archangel,
your presence reminds us
that the devils
do not only remain in hell.
They are with us
and they continue to disturb us.
We feel their presence in this place
and they have not ceased
to disturb us
through inexplicable events.
We ask you, Prince of the Angels,
to come to our rescue
and expel the evil spirits
that haunt this place.
May your sword frighten them.
We know that the presence
of evil spirits
invites us to moral conversion.
The spirit of darkness
could not stay in places
of Jesus’ authentic disciples.
We promise to make
a daily examination of conscience,
to strengthen our will
for the combat against sin.
We commit ourselves to your side,
and to your powerful determination
that led you to defeat of Satan
and his followers.
Stay with us, Saint Michael,
so that your presence may remind us
to be faithful disciples of Jesus.

Help of Christians
 Most Holy Virgin Mary,
appointed by God
to be the Help of Christians,
we choose you as the Mother
and Protectress of our home.
We ask you to favor us
with your powerful protection.
Preserve our home
from every danger:
from fire, flood, lightning,
storm, earthquake,
thieves, vandals,
and from every other danger.
Bless us. Protect us. Defend us.
Keep as your own
all the people who dwell
in this home.
Protect them from all accidents
and misfortunes,
but, above all, obtain for them
the most important grace
of avoiding sin.
Mary Help of Christians,
pray for all those
who live in this home,
which is entrusted to you
for all time.
