The movie Bruce Almighty centered on Bruce which is a local Eyewitness News TV reporter in
Buffalo, New York, best known for doing humorous, homespun, human interest stories that
make everyone happy but him! Bruce would much rather be anchorman, or at the very least,
reporting significant news. Essentially, Bruce is discontented with nearly everything in his life,
and rarely misses an opportunity to complain about it. He has a loving girlfriend, Grace
(Jennifer Aniston), who runs a day care center, is happy with her life, and adores Bruce in
spite of his negativity. One day his frustration with life peaks and he vents his rage to God
unaware that He really could be listening. With that, God (Morgan Freeman) answers his call
and summons him to a meeting where he offers Bruce the chance to see if he could run the
world any better. What results is mayhem in Bruce's life as he tries using his new godly powers
to seek revenge on those, he felt has wronged him and to improve life the way he wants it. The
result of his selfish desires? ...unfathomable consequences.
Overall, Bruce Almighty surprised me. Yes, I'm quite the Jim Carrey fan so this was especially
great to see, but director Tom Shadyac did an excellent job creating an almost-modern day
parable with this film. It's got a pretty solid message without leaving a hand print across the side
of your face but also offers some materials that will either be enough to leave the kids home for
or cause you to wait till it's on DVD to watch it edited with the ClearPlay program or something
similar to omit the offensive material.
Plot The sequence of the plot is organized and it portrays flashbacking
Acting The actors in the film acted well and gave justice to their roles.
Cinema- The film was beautifully shot and it showed clear vision in each scene and there
tography are no visual distractions or blurring of the presentation
Musical The music was appropriate and it caters to the emotions of the film
Score
Special The movie was realistic but there was a part that it became magical during during
Effects one of the dreams in the story.
Editing The film parts are all relevant to the entire movie and no need to eliminate some
parts.
Script The conversation in the movie is very simple but it’s implication to the real thought
of the film is very much observed.

The film viewers will experience a great deal of satisfaction, and the material undermines what
is otherwise a very funny, sweet and profound comedy that awakens viewers to the fundamental
existence of God and our need to serve one another.

Essay on Sex Education in Schools

As children grow, they accumulate knowledge over the years about a variety of subjects
to prepare them for the future. Children learn from parents, schools, life experiences, what they
watch and other influences around them, and it can be either positive learning or negative
learning. There is one subject that is difficult to teach and have control over because of
misunderstandings, lack of teaching, and publicity. Sex education has been a major debate for
children under eighteen, because there are some parents that want it taught in schools and others
because of different reasons. Sex education in schools now seems to be more and more of a
controversial issue. People are arguing over what the curriculum should be in sex education, if it
should be taught in schools or at home by parents and the main point of this paper if sex
education is actually doing what it was set out to do.

Should Sex Education be in Schools? A Review of the Literature Statistics show 34.3 percent out
of 1000 female adolescents are pregnant, actually the lowest recorded in history (King, 2014). The
previous statistics lead to approximately 850,000 adolescent pregnancies alone (McKeon, 2006),
the highest rates of adolescent pregnancy recorded in the United States opposed to every other
country. McKeon (2006) also states around 9.1 million adolescents have contracted an STI/STD
under the age of twenty-five. The government provides funding to public schools for this program.
The Abstinence-only program’s main focus is to convince students not to engage in sexual activity
until married. However, public schools should focus more on Sexuality/Sex education than…

Sex education is important, but many students finish sex education classes with a distorted view
of sexuality and without a good understanding of contraception and safe-sex practices. Instead,
children only learn that they should not have sex until they are married. Abstinence-only programs
in public schools have become popular because of a law giving millions of dollars to schools that
teach the programs. These programs have the good intention of persuading young people to wait
until marriage. In conclusion, we must realize the importance of sex education being taught in
high schools to students.

This is to ensure the students that are our future generations will be well prepared to stand up
against all the unexpected obstacles in their future. After all, “Education does not hurt, but
ignorant does”. If a school offers sex education, it does not mean that they are approving teen
sex; they are just trying to better educate and take a proactive approach to this sensitive topic
for high school students. A proper sex education class can inform students about the risks and
in return would lower the number of teens that have STDs and the pregnancy rate. If teens are
being taught about safe sex, and different diseases they can end up with, they are not going to
feel immune, just knowledgeable. These young adults need to be educated, not so they can go
out and have sex, but so they can be safe and protect their future.
