PROJECT PROGRESS REPORT- 2

Project Title: Solar Power Charge Controller.
Area of Work: Power System.

Type of model: Hardware.

Project Objective:

• A charge controller, or charge regulator is basically a voltage and current regulator to keep batteries from
overcharging. It regulates the voltage and current coming from the solar panels going to the battery.

• This energy is stored in batteries during day time for utilizing the same during night time. Main project
ideas is to deals with a controlled charging mechanism which over charge, deep discharge and under voltage
of the battery.

To achieve this task the project divided into three modules:

• Module 1:Designing the circuit on software (circuit wizard, Proteus) and testing its working.

• Module 2: Designing the circuit on PCB.

• Module 3: Connect all the devices in proper way and analysis process.

Progress in Work:.

• Designed the circuit.

• Circuit run by using Circuit wizard and Proteus.

• 60% of work is done.
