From the analysis of the sources, it emerged that employee engagement can improve business
performance. The following are recommendations on what organizational managers need to do
to improve business performance through employee engagement.
Supervisors need to understand that the relationship with their employees is the most
important. Therefore, they should prioritize on setting workplace conditions that can
improve this relationship by engaging in simple acts such as making available work
materials items and understand how each employee prefer to be recognized
To realize a positive employee engagement, organizational leaders need to go beyond the
status quo and identify and make available rare and value-adding resources that could
foster employee engagement
Organizational managers should consider creating an engagement committee to develop
and implement strategies that could increase engagement as well as developing reward
systems that could support the strategic mission of the organization
