THEORETICAL AND CONCEPTUAL FRAMEWORK

Why do we need to study English? Some says that we don’t need to study this
subject because it’s not important. Many students complaining that it’s very hard
to learn. But if we put more time, practices and concentration we will say that it’s
important and easy. English is one of the hardest subject but we can apply it in the
future. In English we don’t need to compute, we just need to study hard to be
good at this subject. If we relate English in real life we will see the true worth of
this subject. It may not even help us find our way to our one true love. But it will
make us confident in doing our task. It’s different from other subject, because we
don’t need to memorize it; it requires deeper understanding in every words.
However, there are some factors that affect the students’ performance in English,
but the solution must be solely on the students.
A. Review of Related Literature

Some students thought that English is a hard one subject, and because of their
beliefs and on their surroundings, it causes them to have a low academic
performance in English.
