DAILY LESSON PLAN

SUBJECT: Organic Fertilizer DATE:

June 28,
2019

I. OBJECTIVES 1. Determine volume of production of Organic Fertilizer.

2. Calculate volume of Organic fertilizer to be produce
3. Value the importance of determining the volume of production.

II. CONTENT Composting

III. LEARNING RESOURCES LM, Projector, laptop and bond paper, paper and pen

IV. PROCEDURE Recap on the previous lesson

A. REVIEW
B. MOTIVATION VIDEO PRESENTATION

C. PRESENTATION Composting involves the biological decomposition or breakdown of organic material

into a dark, soil-like material. This occurs mainly by the enzymatic digestion of organic
material by soil micro-organisms. Other organisms, such as insects and worms, also
play important roles in the composting process. Any organic material in nature will
decompose by itself. Composting is simply a controlled way of letting this process
take place in the backyard, an indoor container, or a larger waste processing facility.
To determine how much compost, we can produce in a given weight of raw material
we have;
Wf= (Wix60%)
Where: Wf= Final Weight
Wi= Initial Weight

D. PRACTICE/APPLICATION The students will able to solve the problem, answer correctly.
Mang Rudy has a 100 kilograms of raw materials for composting, he wants to
determine how much decomposed organic fertilizer he can produce.

E. ABSTRACTION What is the importance of using Organic Fertilizer?

Why we need to used organic fertilizer?
