The maintenance of extensive, accurate, historical, and current data about individual students is

essential to the functioning of institutions and are proved to be effective educational practices at
all levels of the education system. The contents of this automation is to provide stake holders the
information about courses taken, CIE grades, assessment scores in projects / seminars,
extracurricular activities, and other information that is used by the education system to promote
student success and provide appropriate services.

Brief Introduction about the department,

Instrumentation engineering is a specialized branch of electrical and electronic engineering and it

deals with measurement, control and automation of processes. Role of an instrumentation
engineer ranges from designing, developing, installing, managing equipments that are used to
monitor and control machinery.

Apart from covering core subjects such as industrial instrumentation , process control, bio-
medical instrumentation and robotics, the students deal with software and hardware topics such
as micro controller based instrumentation, VLSI and embedded system designs, Computer
languages such as ‘C++' and OOPS are also a part of the curriculum.

Work of an EEE engineer in industries mostly rely on automated process and maintaining
,commissioning ,erection, calibrating the field instruments. They also Program PLC's, DCS
( controllers).
They have wide variety of scope in all manufacturing industries, chemical industries , oil and gas
industries, Power plants etc.
