Factors affecting one's course choice

There are a lot of factors that can affect every person's choice of courses when we think of our
future career. Especially choosing the right path is very important to one's lives as it is one of
the things that would predict the success of our careers. Financial, location, skills, marketing,
parents and even peers can affect the choice of courses. And even the difficulty of a course can
affect because you as a person and you're undecided of the course you wanted you know
yourself that you would choose the easy course so that you'll not be having a hard time
throughout the school year.

Financial is one of the main factors that can influence as there are families who are not
financially stable to support their children for their dream courses, because there are a lot of
obligatory expenses in a particular course like books, study materials, and even school trips, for
example the child wanted to be an architect in the future and as we all know architecture
requires 5 or more years to finish and there are a lot of materials needed during the school
year such as art materials (e.g markers, color pencil, pencils, t-square, different types of rulers
and templates and etc.,) but the family/parents can afford any of those so the child has no
choice but to choose another course that would fit their finance.

Parents and peers are the most influential factor out of all the factors as they get to decide
what they wanted you to be because they are the one's whol will pay for your expenses and
tuition, and there are cases that the parents wants their children to follow their footsteps and
become like them but every individual has their own wants and that's what some parents can't
understand. And peers contribute to choosing of one's choice because of their friendship pact
that they promised one another to get the specific course.

Academic skills can also affect because you should choose something that fits your strengths so
that you can excel in it and at the same time you are enjoying it. Like in our courses
"Architecture", you should acquire a skill of creativity and you should br good at drawing so
you shouldn't get left out with those who have great skills in the course.

Location can also affect as the transportation is one of the major problems because if the
house is far from the University there are possibilities that the transportation fee is expensive.

These are some of the factors that affect individuals in choosing a course, we all know that its
hard not to take what we want but if you really want something you should do something to
make it happen.
