Matriarch Sarah (formerly Sarai) is a wife and also half-sister of Abraham. Her name was changed from
Sarai (my princess) to Sarah (mother of nations) by God. Beautiful, humble, and god fearing, but was
barren. She walked through strange and difficult terrains with her husband on the way to eternal
homeland. Was active and zealous for the fulfillment of her husband ministry. Worked and submitted
as “perfect help meet” to her husband. When worried about her husband’s heritage and where malice
could have been kept will the step-son she revealed her concerns to Abraham appropriately. She
demonstrated Christian marriage and participated actively to sustain the covenant relationship of her
family with the lord God Almighty.

Was a woman of subject to like passions. She was taken aback that a secret shortcoming she nurtured
as thought was revealed timely and openly by a visitor, and was afraid. By faith Sarah received strength
to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful
who had promised. Sarah wifehood became a legacy. Isaac her son married Rebekah, who was a great
comforter also.
