Our requirement is to load entire stock with time interval ranging from (BUDAT)
01.01.1000 (this is to capture all records from legacy system) to 30.06.2016. However
due to the very high volume of data, the setup table loading process does not allow us to
provide full time interval range, hence we have split the time range as follows;
01.01.1000 to 31.03.2016 (Initial stock from legacy systems) and there on wards month
wise time intervals up to 30.06.2016.
The Article given by me was not loaded in any of the time intervals. Hence please
consider any time interval for your testing purpose. However we do see these Articles
getting loaded when they are loaded individually but missing during full data loading.
kindly assist in identifying the root cause why certain articles go missing when full data
loading is done for all time intervals.
Thank you.

Asith.
SAP:
Hello Asith,
My colleague already filled setup table by giving only one day in selection. As she
mentioned, and was also confirmed by you, the missing article document was loaded. So
that is why we wanted to give a time interval where we could check if in this case as well,
the article documents are correctly loaded.
Best regards,
Eszter
Please execute the setup table load as background job to avoid time-out. You can check
for Article # 4900140693 which is posted (BUDAT) on 4/19/2016, hence your
considered interval can also be 4/19/2016 as well.
Please let me know if you require more information.
Thank you.

Dear Asith,
Would you please reopen GEP system for us to double check the case?
Thanks for the response. Yes I can see that the Article is available now in Setup table.
However I would like to clarify whether there could be any chance of such records
missing out due to the high volume of data, this was the reason why we had to split the
setup table loads to multiple loads since the system will not response had we try to extract
full data loads at the same time.
Could the size of data lead to this data load inconsistency in setup table filling. Please
clarify.
Thank you.

Thanks for your response. We have used all these Posting date Ranges to load the setup
tables up to June 30/2016. Since we did not want to over load ECC system with one load
request, we split the loads into 3 requests by these 3 Posting date Ranges and scheduled
each request at different time slots. However once all three loads were completed and
when we validated data against the C03 Cube data they were the exact same values. But
when validated against MB51 we can see that some Articles have been missed out.
I hope its clear for you, if not please do call on 00971 551090725.

Dear Asith,
I logged in the system GEP and filled the setup table with one of the provided atricle
document
4900157181 that was missing from RSA3 based on your attachment. (highlighted in
yellow in the "3B22_MB51_30.06." excel document the articles codes missing in Setup
Table)
in RSA3 this atricle document is available now.
How did you fill the setup table that you didn't get this article for example
Thank you
Eszter Varhelyi
Thanks for the detailed explanation. However since we are using a Standard Data source
"2 Lis_03_bf" are you suggesting that we need to enhance this Data source in order to
capture those extra lines (for Stock in Transit) at BW level to calculate the exact stock in
plant? Please clarify.
Thank you.
Regards,
Asith.
SAP:
Dear Asith,
From the attached file 3B22_MB51_30.06 I can see that you have a problem with
movement type 641 and 101.
Transfer movements like 641, essentially consist of 2 movements -
(1) The goods issue from the 'stock in transit' and (2) the goods re-
ceipt in the storage location. To reflect this correctly, an additional
line for BW is created.
This is necessary because some movements within one plant
(for example between two storage locations or between the stock in
transfer and a storage location) are posted without value (since they
don't change the value on the plant level).
As described in note 415542, the goods receipt from the stock in
transfer moves the stock from the 'stock in transfer' of the receiving
plant (marked by storage location ' ') to the receiving storage
location (for example '0001'). If one of these two movbements would not
be extracted to the BW and the cube, this would lead to an incorrect
stock level in the receiving plant.
It's correct that these two lines have no effect on the stock quantity
on the plant level, since this was already done by the movement type
641 which moves the stock from the storage location of the issuing
plant to the stock in transfer of the receiving plant. The next step
with movement type 101 is more or less like a transfer between two
storage locations of the same plant.
Transaction MB51 just shows the data from tabel MSEG, where this
movement has only one line, although it actually describes two
movements. That's why a direct comparison of MB51 and the BW data is
not possible in this case.
regards,
Eszter
We opened the R3 connection OF GEP server and maintained the secure data

Dear Asith,
The datasource 2lis_03_bf reads from the following source tables:

Please provide information what is the technical name of field in RSA3 where the value
is not correct after the filling of setup table. What is the expected value?
Please provide one example.

Thank you for your response. The data validation was done against RSA3 (setup tables)
vs the C03 cube data, where Cube data and setup table figures are matching. Hence the
mismatch we see is at setup table loading it self.
Please advise.
Thank you

Asith.

Dear Asith,
Since several layers are involved from ECC data to BW Cube, we would need to first
narrow down the cause to find out the suitable component for further analysis.
can you please check whether PSA data is correct and whether Tcd: RSA3 result from
source system is correct?
Please see the note 1622422 - How to identify/analyze a data load issue and the incorrect
record(s) an with help of this note please lokalize where the problem occurs first.
Thank you

We have identified stock data discrepancies between SAP BW Infocube (ZIC_C03) &
ECC Report MC.9 for few of our sites.
To investigate further we have populated Setup Tables (for all sites) using Datasource
"2lis_03_bf" to identify any discrepancies between setup table vs BW Infocube, but
found no discrepancies between setup tables vs BW Infocube.
However, Stock Data for few sites in setup tables & BW Infocube are not tallying against
ECC MC.9.
Request your assistance urgently in rectifying this data mismatch since its effecting all
Management Reporting.
Thank you.

Asith.
