Hi, Good afternoon! I’m Neil Randave Tayag from Grade 11 St. Francisco Marto and we are here to
interview you about the advatages and disadvanatges of no homework policy.

1. For number one question, what is your stand regarding the possible implementation of “No
Homework Policy” in the country? Why? For me I agree “kase ano” (because), “parang family
time yan dapat naiispend yung natitirang time sa, kasama yung family specially whole day tayo
na yung time na natitira lang yon imbis na kasama natin yung family natin ginagawa pa yung
mga homework and projects ganon” (this is family time so we need to spent it with them
specially we are whole day in school and unfortunately we are doing assignments or projects
even though that is for family time).
2. What are the possible benefits of “No Homework Policy” to students? “Ano less stress atsaka
yun nga, yung makakasama yung family ng matagal and makatulog ng maaga ganon” (less
stress as what I’ve said we are with our family for a long period of time and we can sleep earlier
like that).
3. Next, what could be the negative effect of “No Homework Policy” to students? “Ano, yung
tatamarin sila ganon tapos mawawalan sila ng disiplina sa sarili na pagka-uwi puro tulog nalang
ganon” (they will get lazy like that and they will lose discipline to themselves and when they are
home they are just sleeping like that).
4. Lastly, give some suggestions that may improve the possible implementation of “No Homework
Policy” in the counry? “Ano dapat alamin muna yung, yung kung advan, yung advantages tsaka
disadvatages atsaka kung ano marami ba syang advantage ganon kung marami pa syang
disadvantage” (they need to know the advantages and disadvantages if there is much advantage
or disadvantage).

Hi, Good afternoon! I’m Neil Randave Tayag from Grade 11 St. Francisco Marto and we are here to
interview you about the advatages and disadvanatges of no homework policy.

1. For the question number one, what is your stand regarding the possible implementation of “No
Homework Policy” in the country? Why? “Agree ako kase marami sa mga kabataan ngayon
yung hindi nila nama-manage ng maayung yung time nila kase” (I am agree because most of the
youth now a days don’t know how to manage their time) for example a certain subject “mag-a-
assign sya ngperformance task ganon, tapos yung isa halimbawa ahhmm hindi naim, hindi siya
naimplement” (will assign a performance task like that, then the other one for example it is not
impelemented) so tendency “minsan yung deadline ng mga projects, assignments and PETA
sabay-sabay sila so mahihirapan silang i-manage yung time nila” (sometimes the deadline of
projects, assignments and performance task are given in the same time so it is hard to manage
their time).
 2. Number two, what are the possible benefits of “No Homework Policy” to students? “Male-lessen
yung mga work, work nila in school kase kapag natanggal yung homework hindi nila alalahanin
yung I mean di, hindi na nila alalahanin yung mg additional na ginagawa pa nila sa school” (it
will lessen their work in school because when they remove the homework they will not
remember their additional work in school).
3. Third question, what could be the negative effst of “No Homework Policy” to students? “Yung
nega, negative effect nya is hindi nila mare-recall yung lesson nila in past past few weeks kase
diba hindi naman araw-araw na mi-meet yung mga subjects so tendency kapag nag meet ulit
hindi na alam ng mga students kung ano yung last lesson (the negative effect is they cannot
recall the past lesson when they meet again and you know that we didn’t meet the subjects
everyday so tendency students would not have remembered the last lesson).
4. Lastly, give some suggestions that may improve the possible implementation of “No Homework
Policy” in the counry? “Ahh siguro, kailangan mas pagtuunan nila ng pansin yung feeling or yung
syempre feelings ng mga students kase hindi naman lahat magagawa nila hindi naman sila
robot na parang uutusan mong ganyan, gumawa ka ng ganyan agad-agad magagawa nila so
for me positive feedbacks naman ang matatanggap kapag naimplement and no homework
policy” (I think its need to pay more attention to the feelings of students because they cannot
finish everything, they are not robot to do it right away, so for me they can get positive
feedbacks when they implement the No Homework Policy).

1. First question, what is your stand regarding the possible implementation of “No Homework
Policy” in the country? Why? “Kung ako yung tatanungin ahm hindi ako mag a-agree kase ahh
oo mabibigyan ng ahhm ayy wait lang, hindi naman makakasigurado na kapag wala nang
homework policy ayyy kapag no homework policy na mabibigay parin yung time for family or for
yourself for sure mag aano yan, mag wa-waist kalang ng time for social media or sa phone mo”
(if I were to ask, I am not agreeing because it is not sure if there is no homework policy you will
give your time to your family or for yourself, for sure you will be wasting your time on social
media or cellphone.
2. Next, what are the possible benefits of “No Homework Policy” to students? “Yung possible
benefit lang is yung, ahhmm wala na silang gagawin sa bahay parang higa nalang male-less din
yung stress nya” (the possible benefit is you have nothing to do at home just lay down and it will
lessen you stress).
3. Then, what could be the negative effst of “No Homework Policy” to students? “Ahhmm yung,
gugugulin nalang nya yung oras nya sa pagpo-phone, sa paglalaro or pagco-computer tsaka
tatamarin silang mag-aaral” (they will spend their time in cellphone, playing or using computer
and they will get lazy to attend schooling).
 4. Lastly, give some suggestions that may improve the possible implementation of “No Homework
Policy” in the counry?
“Kung magbibigay ako ng suggestion ahmm, dapat pakinggan nila yung or tignan nila yung both
sides nung, both sides effect nung mismong, nung mismong policy para kapag, kung mai-
implement man ahmm sigurado sila na magigiging maganda ang effect nyan. (if I will give a
suggestion, they need to hear the both effects of the policy, if it is implemented if they are sure
that it has a good effect).
