 CONTENT OF THE REPORT

This report will help sufficiently to allow the client to make an informed decision on the
observed and reported leakage problems. It contains the engineer and customer observation,
investigations, engineer recommendation as well as site visit report, and the possible remedial
solutions.

 LEAKAGE PROBLEMS ON THE 7TH FLOOR ROOMS

 IT Room - Slab Ceiling around column

 In Front of IT Room – Small part on the slab Ceiling
 Human Resource Room – Some sort of leakage is observed on Slab Ceiling around on
top of Window
 In Front of HR Room – Small part on the slab Ceiling at near back partition wall.
 Audit Room- in this room it was reported and noticed that there is a serious leakage on
the Slab Ceiling.
 District Manager Office. Some wet wall is noticed at one corner side of the wall.

CONCLUSTION
As previously reported that the top terrace was made with water proofing material below the
existing ceramic, however still the above mentioned leakage problems was observed on certain
rooms. Therefore, as we see the laying ceramic on the terrace has some opening in between the
joint which is supposed to be the source of leakage unless and otherwise there is unforeseen
reasons. To conclude the issue, it is recommended first to seal the joint in between the ceramic
with filler carefully in such manner to avoid such leakages. At the same time cleaning of dirty
materials away from the terrace shall be done in order to avoid any blockage water to go through
the collecting drains and to avoid accumulation of water on the terrace.
If the problem persist in the manner as before the client shall give direction to the consultant in
such a way that the client shall deduct certain amount of money from the retained that can allow
the client to maintain fully and fix the problem in consultation with the consultant to settle the
issue.
