The giver is about the story of 12 years young boy “Jonas” who lives in the fake society which is
designed to live without memories. In this society everyone follows the rules which are establish
by the elders. Jonas is nervous for the Ceremony of Twelve, where his life job will be assigned.
Jonas is selected as a “Receiver of Memories”. The current receiver “The giver” start the Jonas
training, where he learn about color as everyone can see in black & white. He also learn about
love, emotions, nature, beauty, family, pain, war, unhappy truths of the world. Jonas understands
that he is living in a fake society. He decided to change his society. Jonas escape from the society
and bring back colors in the black & white society.
