 Paragraph of the Week (POTW). There will
not be a paragraph of the week this week.
We will resume paragraph of the week, next
week.
 Students were given a Black History Month Birthdays:
Reading Comprehension packet at the
beginning of the month. We have worked
on it daily in class. The completed packet is
due this Friday, February 28th. This will be
counted as a Social Studies grade.

 We are reading “Fish in A Tree as our

literature circle book. Students have a
reading packet that goes along with the
book. We are now on chapter 30. I will
begin to review the packet to ensure that
students are completing the necessary pages.
We read 6 chapters a week. If students are
behind, the book can be listened to on Classroom Highlights
Audible.com for free.
