2 Research Objective
This capstone project aimed at developing a system entitled San Juan Barangay

Management Information System. Specifically, it seeks to accomplish the following

objectives:

1. To develop a web-based administrator module that can perform the following

processes for the barangay:

a. Content Management System module that will enable the administrator

to create, modify and organize content of the website in terms of the

following areas:

i. Barangay projects and program

ii. Barangay events and activities

iii. Barangay schedule

iv. Barangay official

v. Barangay photo gallery

vi. Barangay facilities

vii. And other important matters

b. Transaction Processing module that will enable the logged barangay

official to store, retrieve and process document request from residents

including:

i. Barangay Clearance

ii. Certificate of Indigency

iii. Business Permit

iv. Tricycle Registration

 v. Blotter

c. Module that will facilitate the collection of data regarding

i. Residents

ii. Health Data

iii. Senior Citizen

2. To develop a mobile app for the end-user that can perform the following:

a. Users can browse all information posted on the site

b. Users can check current weather update within the area

c. Logged users can make transactions with the barangay

d. Logged users can give rating and comments
