Update the Odometer on the VCU

When a VCU is replaced, the customer is now able to update the odometer to put it in sync with
the vehicle’s odometer.

1. Connect directly to the VCU with your programming harness.

2. Open the MBE reprogramming program and wait for the “R” to be displayed in the upper
left-hand corner of your screen.

3. Select Update Calibration.

4. From the Tools menu, select Update Odometer.
5. Enter the New Odometer Value in the Box provided
6. Click on Send to VCU

7. You will be prompted to Turn off Ignition.

8. You will be prompted to Turn on Ignition.

9. The new odometer value is then displayed.
