B SHORTHAND EXAMINATIONS.
Every year the Technical Examinations are conducted twice in a year i.e., during
the months of January/February and June/July of the year. The Notification for conduct of
Typewriting & Shorthand Examinations shall be issued in the months of October/November for
January/February Session and April/May for the June/July Session of Technical Examinations.
The detailed notification can be download from the sbtet websites i.e., www.sbtet.telangana.gov.in
for Notifications and for submitting the online applications the website http://ousbtet.net/twshportal
shall be used.
1 Typewriting English Junior A pass in VII Class examination/VIII Bonafide Certificate with the date of
Grade birth.
2 Typewriting English Lower An appearance of SSC Examination or equivalent. Candidates should
/Telugu/Hindi/Urdu enclose attested Xerox copy of hall ticket if marks statement is not yet
issued. Where the marks statements are issued, an attested Xerox copy of
marks statement should invariably be enclosed to the application.
3 Typewriting Higher A pass in Lower Grade exam., of the subject and language along with a
English/Telugu pass in SSC or equivalent examination or Intermediate or equivalent from
/Hindi/Urdu any recognized Board as per G.O. Rt No. 194, Higher Education (TE-II)
Dept. date: 17-03-2005. Candidates qualified in Lower exam., of Maharastra
Govt. will not be admitted except those who qualify as per G.O. Ms. No. 921,
G.A. (Ser. B) Dept. dt.: 19-06-62.
4 Typewriting High A pass in Higher Grade examination of the concerned subject.
English/Telugu Speed
2 Shorthand English Intermediate A pass in Shorthand Lower Grade Examination or any Graduation from
the recognised University.
4 Shorthand All High A pass in the Higher Grade Examination of the concerned subject.

4. HOW TO APPLY FOR TECHNICAL EXAMINATIONS.
In case of first appearance for any of the examinations (any grade or any language)
the candidate must apply through the recognized Typewriting Institutions only.
Subsequently one can appear privately by enclosing a copy of his previous Hall Ticket and
requisite qualifications along with downloaded online application. For shorthand
Examination, the candidates can appear directly and send their downloaded applications
along with requisite documents.
The candidates willing to appear for the Typewriting & Shorthand Examinations have to
pay the following examination fee. The hall tickets for the eligible candidates will be placed
in the department website i.e., http://ousbtet.net/twshportal 10 days before the conduct of
examinations.

The Technical Examination Results shall be declared immediately after the conclusion of
post examination work and will be placed in the SBTET website i.e.,
http://ousbtet.net/twshportal for information to the candidates and Principals of the
Typewriting and Shorthand Institutions concerned in the state. The Original Certificates to
the passed out candidates shall be dispatched to the concerned Typewriting Institutions
address mentioned in the affiliation list of CTE through EMS Speed Post Service of Postal
Department.
The Candidates who are desirous, of applying for Recounting and Photocopy of Answer
Booklets of Technical Examinations shall apply within 15 days in the SBTET Website or
through AP Online Centre soon after the declaration of the results. Manual Applications for
Recounting and Photocopy will not be entertained and summarily rejected. The fee for
recounting is Rs.350/- Per Paper and for Photocopy is Rs.100/- Per Paper. The results of
the Recounting and Photocopies of Answer Booklets will be sent to the candidates
registered email address mentioned by the candidate in the online application. No request
for Re-counting and Photocopies of Answer Booklets would be entertained from a
candidate who is reported to have involved in Malpractice.
