BIOGRAFÍA DE JONGHYUN

Espinoza: His name was Kim Jonghyun.


Espinoza: He measured 1.76 cm and weighed 67 kg.
Espinoza: He was born on April 18, 1990 in Hyehwa-dong, Seoul, South
Korea.
Espinoza: He was a South Korean singer-songwriter.
Espinoza: His hobby was to play the piano, compose songs and practice
singing.
Espinoza: His mother's name is Eun Kyung and his older sister is Kim Sodam,
who lived with him until he was 20 years old in Seoul.
Espinoza: He supported his mother and sister. For him they were his everything.
Espinoza: He studied in a Christian school.
Espinoza: He participated in a gospel choir, took piano and guitar lessons and
was a member of a band in which he played bass.
Espinoza: In 2005 at age 15 he auditioned for SM Entertaiment and he was
selected as an apprentice.
Espinoza: Jonghyun at age 18 debuted alongside the other members of SHINee,
Minho, Key, Taemin and Onew, on May 25, 2008 with Replay on the SBS
Inkigayo program.
Espinoza: In that same year, Jonghyun sang Hyeya of "Y si fuera ella" by
Alejandro Sáenz in Korean.
Espinoza: The following year he debuted as a composer with the song Juliette,
a theme that was included in the mini-album, Romeo (2009). From then on,
Jonghyun would be known for his compositions for SHINee and other artists.
Espinoza: He loved to light an aromatic cinnamon candle to sleep, because it
relaxed him.
Espinoza: In 2010 Jonghyun had a nine-month relationship with actress Shin
and they separated in June 2011 due to her busy schedules.

Morales: Jonghyun bought a teckel dog and named its Roo.


Morales: Jonghyun donated money to the NGO and UNICEF.
Morales: He debuted as a radio host for the Blue Night program in 2014 at age
24. He gave advice to tired people.
Morales: In 2015 at age 25, he debuted as a soloist with Base Album followed
by Story Op.1. (2015), She Is (2016) and Story Op.2 (2017) and Poet/Artist
(2018).
Morales: He won awards such as: Prize in radio excellence (2015), Bonsang -
Base (2016) and Bonsang - Best album Poet artist (2018).
Morales: In that same year he published his only book entitled "Skeleton flower".
Morales: On December 17, 2017, Jonghyun was found dead in his apartment at
27 years old, having inhaled toxic gases. As the agency commented, Jonghyun
had been fighting depression for several years, as can be seen in many of his
songs, such as Elevator and Let Me Out.
Morales: He had texted his sister before he died telling him to tell him he did well.
Morales: The artist, known for his vivacity and great heart, had been fighting the
pressure of being an idol for some time and the negative comments he received
for his support of LGBT people.
Morales: After his death, the company canceled the group's activities and
opened a space for fans to say goodbye to the artist.
Morales: On March 23, 2018, his latest album Poet Artist was released.
Morales: Jonghyun in a letter asked that his organs be donated and that the
songs he had composed were for SHINee.
Morales: His mother with the money raised from his last album opened the
fundation “Shiny” for people living in difficult circumstances.
Morales: Roo currently lives with his mother and sister.
