Technical Requirements
Bahria Town invite’s Mobilink Business Services Division to propose Voice connectivity solution for their
Karachi Office. Following are the client requirements.
To cater the client’s requirement, Mobilink BSD is proposing State-of-the-art technologies, services &
equipment. Following are the highlights of proposed solution.
Solution Description
1. Existing Fiber optic has been proposed for fixed voice services at Bahria town Karachi.
2. Internet is already provisioned on this fiber optic.
3. Two VLAN are required to segregate internet & voice traffic over existing fiber optic link.
4. Layer-2 switch will be deployed to segregate internet and voice traffic at Bahria Town Karachi.
5. Fiber to Ethernet media converter will be provided with Fast Ethernet hand off at client end.
6. 2 Mbps data bandwidth will be provisioned for fixed voice services at Bahria Town Karachi.
7. SIP Trunk on Ethernet.

Disclaimer
Solution has only been designed for the current requirement; In case of any additional
requirements amendments would be applicable accordingly as per revision process.
Voice gateway/system and rest of the infrastructure will be managed by client.
Kindly read all terms and conditions mentioned in equipment vendor quote.
Customer must ensure availability of its own electrician at the time of installation.
Mobilink will only provide WAN connectivity for Voice Services.
Any acute requirement will be shared if it is raised by Client or building Management during
Deployment.
Permission arrangements for any activity at client side (Building/Office/etc) will be client’s
responsibility.
PRI cabling from SIP - PRI gateway to Customer-end PABX will be client’s responsibility.
Additional length of Ethernet cable from media converter to PABX/SIP to PRI Gateway will be
client’s responsibility.
Extra cost should be kept in consideration during Budgeting to cater any acute requirement
during the deployment.
UAN feature is not currently available with the product hence as of yet cannot be provided if
requested.
Video Conferencing is not tested, hence not embedded in the solution.
FAX services are not provided in this solution (in testing Phase)
Number masking and overriding is not allowed.
Hardware/software/licenses required on existing PABX for PRI termination and functioning will
be customer’s responsibility.
Any configuration required on customer-end PABX will be customer’s responsibility only.
Pre-requisites are mentioned in this document, which should be catered before deployment.
Onsite acute requirement will be shared at the time of deployment.
If client is using this Voice for call center traffic than necessary documentation will be required
form client.
For call rates kindly coordinate with pricing.
IP PBX and rest of the infrastructure will be managed by client himself.
As different teams & dept. are involved therefore longer delays can occur while troubleshooting.
LAN Management or extra WAN equipment will be the client’s responsibility.
Client will be responsible for arranging permissions at client side for any activity.
