AUTOMOTIVE CONTROL SYSTEMS

LAB HANDOUT
Course Automotive Control Systems

Course code AEZG510

EC-1 lab Develop control and failsafe strategies for designed functions of automotive components by application of system
principles and thereby interfacing with controller.
Weightage 20%
Mode of delivery Introduction to Lab (Live Lecture in Impartus),
Bootcamp - Integrated Automotive Engg. (On-site) Lab* at Hyderabad campus

*It is essential for the students to participate in the Bootcamps conducted in the campus for the successful completion of the
program.

LEARNING OUTCOMES (LO)

By performing the assigned Experiential Learning modules, the students will be able to:

1. Suggest appropriate controller and tune the same for a specific application taking into account the external disturbances to the
desired set point value.

2. Build failsafe strategies and limit the functionality of automotive systems by detecting abnormalities in the sensor outputs.

3. Develop control strategies for automotive control systems and implement the same on a hardware to test their functionality.
