INTRODUCTION BY THE EMCEE

HERMIS: Ladies and Gentlemen, I hope you are in a very good mood tonight for I, HERMIS, will be
hosting tonight’s party together with one of the birthday celebrant’s son, Mr. Joey...

JOEY: Nonetheless, we greet you a very good evening and welcome you to this much awaited party
in celebration of my Mother’s 60th birthday.

ENTRANCE OF THE CELEBRANT

HERMIS: All of us gathered here have been a part of Ma’am Jenny’s life- one way or another. Kung
baga, memory lane ang theme natin tonight as we reminisce the good 60 years Ma’am Jenny has
shared with us.

JOEY: Indeed, my mother’s 60 fabulous years of existence creates legacy to her descendants.

Born on January 24, 1960 here in Calbayog, our celebrator is the 3rd of 4 children of late Consolacion
and Segundino. And also the wife of late Doddie. She attended in La Milagrosa Academy in High School
and went to Christ the King for her college years where he took up Bachelor of Secondary Education
and she graduated her Master`s Degree in Northwest Samar State University. Growing up, our
celebrator has been very hardworking. In fact, she is one of the principal of Samar Division. Siya po
ang inang nagmamahal sa kanyang mga kapatid, mga anak at mga apo.
Sa sobrang hardworking ni Mama , dalawang lugar mo lang daw siya mahahanap , sa bahay or sa
trabaho, although we are yet to confirm this later. Being as dedicated to her family and career, our
celebrator deserves this night to celebrate her special day with people who matter to her.

HERMIS: Friends and family, let’s put our hands together and welcome, the woman of the hour,
MRS. EUGENIA “jenny “ ARIOJA CATAMPO.

JOEY: Tonight is all about you, Mama. ( Ngayong gabi din po ay sinicelebrate natin ang pagsali niyo
sa isang club.. Isang grupo ng mga taong libre ang sine, VAT-exempted at may express lanes sa
mga grocery stores.

HERMIS: Dagdagan natin ang inyong citizenship. Hindi nalang po kayo Filipino Citizen pati na
po…”Senior Citizen) Madami pa pong naka - prepare na surprises para sa inyo . Because tonight, we
celebrate you.

JOEY: We would also like to say muchosgracias to everyone, for gracing this very momentous
occasion of my mother’s life because as they say, you only get to be 60 once.

HERMIS: Of course, this party wouldn’t have been possible without the family of the celebrant, so
let’s give them a big rounds of applause.

JOEY: Former US President Abraham Lincoln once wrote, “[And] in the end, it’s not the years in your
life that count. [But] the life in your years.” Tonight is a celebration of both the years and the life of my

the people whom she truly loved. Sabi nga, marami tayong mahahanap na kapuso, pero iisa lang ang
ating kapamilya.

HERMIS: To welcome us all for this very momentous event. May I call in ____________________ for
the Welcome Toast.

JOEY: TOAST FOR A SUCCESSFUL LIFE, The wine symbolizes commitment and triumph. My
mother is considered victorious because she is able to reach the age of 60 and it is a great time for
this kind of celebration. To toast with her the wine for a long lasting victory of her life, let us all call in
the following special persons who are in one way or another became a part of her life through thick
and thin, ups and downs, right and wrong and sometimes good and bad times of life. Once again,
MRS. EUGENIA ARIOJA CATAMPO Family to be with here for the wine toast. (O hai yo). Everyone
is requested to grab their own glass to toast.

HERMIS: let’s have the 20 roses dance of our birthday celebrant. Let us now acknowledge the loved
and important persons in Jenny’s life.

HERMIS: For good luck, the birthday person should make the first cut of the cake. To seal the deal,
the lucky birthday person should get the first piece of cake.

JOEY: As requested by the birthday celebrator, these dance is in the top 12 billboard worldwide and

HERMIS: Who is Ma’am Eugenia “Jenny” Arioja Catampo in the real sense of word? Of course aside

JOEY: Before we proceed to the buffet tables, The Birthday celebrant will be going around tables to
have their pictures taken with our celebrant.
Para po mas maayos at mas mabilis, we will divide the area into two. Yung isang group po, proceed
na sa buffet tables. While the other half, you may approach the buffet table after the celebrant has
taken a photo with your group.
After the dinner, the family would like to request everybody to please remain for a while for the
continuation of our program.

HERMIS: Hindi po makakalampas ang gabing ito na wala tayong naririnig from the celebrant herself.
I would like to call our celebrant, Ma’am Jenny, for a few words.

JOEY: According to famous John Lennon, you should “Count your age by friends, not years. Count
your life by smiles, not tears.” With that said, if we do count Mama’s age by her friends and by the
smiles she paints on peoples’ faces, hindi lang siguro siya 60 years old ngayon. Siguro 100 na.

HERMIS: Ngayong gabi po, nagkaroon tayo ng pagkakataon to celebrate life and all its blessings .
From tonight, we see another year in Ma’am Jenny’s life filled with happiness, love and joy
surrounded by his family and friends.

JOEY: And with that our program has officially concluded. We would like to thank Mama Jenny's

it to this wonderful celebration of Jenny’s 60th birthday.
