UNIT - I: Introduction (14 Hours)
Coordinate system: Cartesian, cylindrical and spherical coordinate system transformations,
Differential Calculus: Gradient, Divergence, Curl and their physical significance, Integral
Calculus: Line, Surface, and Volume Integrals, Integral theorem: Gauss and stokes theorems,
Curvilinear Coordinates, second derivatives: Laplacian. minkowski space, d'alembertian
operator.
