In the phantom of the opera, I have learned some lesson that can be
used in our daily lives. For example, we shouldn’t judge other people base on
their appearance. Although the phantom have a deformed face, it can be seen
that he is an intelligent person and will do anything to fight for his love. Second,
the value of sacrifice and courage. It can be seen when Christine decided to
agree to marry the phantom in exchange of Raoul’s freedom. In our life, there
will be time when we also need to make sacrifices lie Christine and Raoul. To
make that sacrifice, we should also have courage to stand against our
problems. It is hard to make right decisions specially when there are thing
that are needed to be sacrificed, but we should do it in order to have a good
future and for the sake of others. And last, I learn that the love between two
people can’t be force, just like how the phantom forces his love for Christine.
It is shown that one person will be happy with the outcome while the other
wouldn’t. In the end, all people need to be loved, but we shouldn’t force it on
a person that doesn’t have the same feeling.
