Legally Blonde Bios

Elle Woods – Kirsty Taylor

Kirsty has been performing on stage for 16 years, making her debut with Rotherham Teacher's
Student Academy when she was just 10 years old. Kirsty has appeared in many shows over the years
with her highlights being when she played Maureen in Rotherham Musical Theatre Companies’ 2018
production of RENT, Penny Pingleton in Hairspray and Wendy Jo in Footloose. This is Kirsty's second
time playing Elle Woods, her first appearance being for Wakefield West Riding Theatre Co at the
Wakefield Theatre Royal and she is so excited for the chance to play her favourite dream role again.
She is blessed and thankful for the constant support from her husband, family and friends.

Warner – Ben Loy

Ben starting his performing at a young age and has been involved in many productions. His singing
career has seen him making Xfactor boot camp twice and he also made 3rd place in the open mic UK
final in 2009, and has shared the stage with the like of The Wanted, Texas, Overtones and The
Saturdays,
Ben returned to stage 5 years ago and has played some diverse Lead Roles from Angel in Rent,
Felicia in Priscilla Queen of the Desert at the Sheffield Lyceum, the same year making his Debut as
Tick With RMTC, Seaweed in Hairspray, Collins in Rent and most recently Seymour in Little Shop of
Horrors. Ben is excited to be back with his RMTC family.

Emmett – Sam Clarkson

Sam has only recently begun his stage career and he is delighted to be playing this, his first principle
role as Emmett Forest. You may recognise him from his appearance in our production of Rent last
year, although he has also played Galileo in a recent production of ‘We Will Rock You’. Sam has a
Degree in Law, and this gave him the opportunity to work overseas with aid work in Africa, as well as
other more local legal charities. By day he Manages Restaurants and loves to have Musical Theatre
Performance as something to look forward to in his spare time. He has loved challenging himself
with this role and hopes you enjoy his performance too!

Paulette – Grace English

Grace is a 24 year old primary school teacher who teaches in Sheffield. Grace first discovered she
could sing around the age of 14 and hasn’t stopped since. When she was younger, she was a
member of RTSA and returned to the stage once more on returning home from university. Over the
years, Grace has performed in many roles including: Sandy in Grease; a Dynamite in Hairspray; and a
Diva in RMTC’s Priscilla. The highlight of her performing days so far has been portraying what was
her dream role of Nancy in WWRTC’s production of Oliver! In rehearsals, Grace has enjoyed
developing her comedic side of acting and most of all conquering her Irish jig which she hopes you’ll
all enjoy.

Vivien – Katie Eyre

Katie has just begun her 3rd year as a Primary School teacher but has always had a passion for
performing. She began performing on stage at just 4 years old and joined the musical theatre world
with RTSA when she was just 8. In the 10 years she was there, she performed in over 20 shows
including Bugsy Malone, Les Miserables and Our House. She has played Miss Sherman in Fame, a
Dynamite in Hairspray and Madame Giry in the Phantom of the Opera but her favourite role to date
is Ellen in Miss Saigon. This will be her third show with RMTC having previously performed in Jesus
Christ Superstar and Priscilla. Katie is very much looking forward to returning to the Civic Stage.

Callaghan – Ash Booker

Ashley has been appearing on stage for the last 22 years and in that time has appeared in shows as
diverse as Carousel to Hairspray. For RMTC his credits include Herod in Jesus Christ Superstar,
Bernardo in West Side Story, Tinman in The Wizard of Oz, Fred Gailey in Miracle on 34th Street, his
personal favourite Bernadette in Priscilla Queen of the Desert and Benny in last year’s production of
Rent. As well as performing Ashley is also in demand as a director and future directing credits
include Sleeping Beauty, Legally Blonde and My Fair Lady.
Outside the theatre world, Ashley works in HR and enjoys spending time with his many friends and
snuggling up on the sofa with his Frenchie, Dobby.

Brooke – Chloe Jackson

Chloe has been performing since the age of 7 with RTSA and with RMTC since 15. She had a vast
portfolio of leading roles ranging from Sandy in Grease to Eponine in Les Miserable. Most recently
Chloe has played Swallow in Whistle Down the Wind and Narrator in ‘Joseph’. She also appeared as
Ariel in footloose at the Wakefield theatre royal, and Mimi in Rent with RMTC. Chloe has
represented the country at the World Championships for Dance in Florida! Chloe has loved playing
Brooke, as skipping paired with singing has proved a challenge for her, and she feels the role has
helped build her stamina and the ability to multitask in a way no other role has before!

Margot – Ciara Stothard

This is Ciara's first show with RMTC and she has thoroughly enjoyed working with such an amazing
cast in one of her all-time favourite musicals. She is 15 and has been singing, dancing and acting for
as long as she can remember, and aims to perform on the West End/Broadway one day. Ciara has
played several leading roles including Brigitta in The Sound of Music, Killer Queen in We Will Rock
you, Judy Turner in A Chorus Line and most recently Demeter in Cats with RTSA. When she is older
Ciara would absolutely love to play Mrs Johnstone in Blood Brothers. Aside from performing, Ciara is
also very academic and loves English Literature and French. She hopes you enjoy the show!

Pilar – Mille Ducker

Millie’s first stage performance was with RMTC in 2011, as Chip in Beauty and the Beast when she
was just 7 and it ignited her passion to perform. Since then Millie has performed in many shows
including the title role in Annie, Gretl in The Sound of Music, Little Inez in Hairspray, Bielke in Fiddler,
Patty Simcox in Grease and Tinkerbell in Peter Pan with Spillers Pantomimes. In her spare time,
Millie loves to dance. She represented the Jazz/Lyrical Dance team ‘Explosion’ in the World
Championships in America in April this year. Millie has recently gained a Distinction in her Grade 8
Musical Theatre Singing Exam and she hopes you enjoy the show as much as she has enjoyed
rehearsals.

Serena – Amelia Depledge

Whilst this is Amelia’s first principle role with RMTC she has played many others before including
Sour Kangaroo in Seussical, A diva in Joseph and most recently Bombalarina in Cats with RTSA.
Amelia has enjoyed rehearsing for Legally Blonde and looks forward to bringing the role of Serena to
life. She has performed in the professional tour of Chitty and was awarded the regional performer
of 2018 from the London College of Music and has represented England at the World Championships
for Cheer and Dance. Amelia’s aim after School is to study Performing Arts in London, and her

dream is to pursue a career in Musical Theatre. When Amelia is not performing, she loves spending
time with her Cockerpoo, Toby

Enid – Frankie Riley

Frankie has been performing in Musicals since she was 8 years old and studied Musical Theatre at
University in Cumbria. She is a 25 year old Retention advisor from Doncaster. This is her second
show with RMTC and she loves how much fun the entire process is. Frankie has played many roles
on the stage, her favourites being Maria in West Side Story and Wendy in Peter Pan and of course
Enid who is the funniest character she has ever had the joy of playing. Frankie would like to thank
everyone at RMTC for making her feel so welcome, and her boyfriend for driving her to every
rehearsal. She hopes you all love the show as much as she does.

Aaron Schultz – Dan Fenwick

Dan is 21 and has been performing since he was 10 and in that time has been able to play numerous
roles, including: Joseph in the show of the same name, Tobias in Sweeney Todd, Horton in Seussical
the Musical, Doody in Grease, Nathan in The Full Monty the Musical, Louis in The King and I,
Friedrich in The Sound of Music plus many more mainly with RTSA. Aside from his work in Banking,
in what spare time he gets, Dan enjoys spending time with his loved ones and watching Rotherham
United. Dan has recently qualified as an FA Football Coach (L1) and has already started his L2
course. He is soon to start a new career in Teaching!

Padamadan – Jack Lockley

This is Jack’s first role with RMTC having been a member of RTSA for 4 years where he has played
many lead roles including Edmund in The Lion the Witch and The Wardrobe, Larry in A Chorus Line
and most recently Asparagus, Gus and Growltiger in CATS. The opportunity to work with the Adult
Company has been a great experience for Jack and it allows him to show off his dancing, singing and
acting alongside several of his great friends from RTSA. Jack would like to give a special shout out to
all the cast and crew especially our Stage Manager Matt Roberts as we wouldn’t have a show
without him and all his team’s hard work.
