Week 2- task assignment – where are you from?

Sofía Daccarett Char, better known as Sofía Carson, was born in

Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on April 10, 1993, the daughter of José F.
Daccarett and Laura Char Carson, from Colombia, nationalized in
the United States. He attended St. Hugh School and graduated from
Carrollton School of the Sacred Heart in Miami. Most recently
Carson attended UCLA, majoring in communications with a degree
in French. She is a composer, actress, singer and dancer. She also
serves as the founder of UNICEF and the Latin Grammy Cultural
Foundation. Her first television appearance was as a guest actress
on the Disney Channel series. In 2015, 2017, and 2019, she
appeared as Evie, the daughter of the Evil Queen, in the Disney
Channel movie Descendants and its sequels. In 2016, she appeared
as Lola Perez in Adventures in Babysitting and Tessa in A Cinderella
Story. Carson is one of the leads in the Freeform series Pretty Little
Liars: The Perfectionists which premiered in 2019 and for which she
earned a Teen Choice Awards nomination in the Best Actress
category. After releasing Feel the Beat on Netflix in June 2020, he
starred opposite KJ Apa in the Michael Bay-produced film Songbird (2020) based on the COVID-
19 pandemic. In July 2022, Bad Wounded Hearts premiered on Netflix, a film in which, in
addition to being the protagonist, she is the executive producer, composer, and performer of
the soundtrack. Their debut single is Love Is the Name, an interpolation of Opus's Live Is Live
and was released on April 10. As a singer-songwriter, Sofia has garnered nearly 1 billion
streams and over 2 billion views, as well as reaching No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 and
launching a dynamic music catalogue, including four gold-selling singles. And his new song is
already considered one of the biggest hits of the first half of the year.
