Pursuant to Republic Act (RA) No, 10588 also known as the Palarong Pambansa Act of 2013, the Schools Division of Oriental Mindoro, in partnership with the Provincial Physical Fitness and Sports Development Council of Oriental Mindoro and the Local Government of Bansud, will hold the 2019 Palarong Pampaaralan on November 19-23, 2019 at Bansud, Oriental Mindoro with the theme "Excellence Through Sports” 2. The annual meet aims to promote physical education and encourage sports programs, Jeague competitions and amateur sports, including training for international competitions, to foster self-discipline, teamwork and excellence for the development of a healthy and alert citizenry. The activity also aims to prepare for the 2019 MIMAROPA Regional Athletic Meet (MRAA) to be held at Sablayan, Occidental Mindoro. ision to work 3. The sports to be played, number of athletes, coaches, chaperons per event, management staff, working committee, technical officials, and the rules and regulations that will govern this year’s athletic meet are specified in the Manual of Operation, 4, Athletes eligible to participate shall be those born on or after January 1, 2007 for elementary and those born on or after January 1, 2002 for secondary. They must be duly enrolled in any school in the Division during the current school year and have participated in the school, district sectoral and unit meet. DepEd Bansud District shall be in charge of the preparation of the sports arena and the billeting quarters of the delegations and guests. 6. The Provincial School Board, through Hon. Humerlito A. Dolor, MPA, Ph.D. will provide a financial assistance of Php 20,000.00 to each of the athletic delegations to be given before or after the meet. 7. Toensure the efficient and effective conduct of the meet, officials shall be chosen from the pool of accredited school officials / personnel of each district as recommended by the District / ‘School PESS Coordinators and approved by their immediate heads 8. All recommended Technical Meet Officials and Coaches shall attend the two-day sports clinic to be held at Bansud Central School, Bansud District on November 17-18, 2019 9.
