Pursuant to the DepEd Memorandum No. 083, s. 2020 on the Joint Implementing Guidelines for Brigada Eskwela and Oplan Balik Eskwela, Enclosure No. 2 on the Brigada Eskwela Mandated Partnership Activities and Stakeholders’ Engagement under the New Normal and the Regional Memorandum No. 52, s. 2021 on Regional Brigada Pagbasa Implementation, this Office will intensity its efforts to improve the literacy of the K-Grade 6 leamers and achieve the targets of DepEd's Bawat Bata Bumabasa and DepEd Bicol's Bawat Batang Bikolano Bihasang Bumasa 2. ‘The DepEd Regional Brigada Pagbasa Implementation Plan is in Enclosure No. 1 and the ‘School and Division Brigada Pagbasa Monitoring Templates are in Enclosures No. 2 and 3, 3. All Schools Division Offices (SDOs) and public schools are requested to actively support the Brigda Pagbasa Implementation and provide assistance to the volunteers during the conduct ofreading activities. All SDOs through their Division Information Officers (DOs) are requested to submit a Ka-Brigada Pagbasa Volunteer of the month, starting July 2021. The chosen Ka- Brigada Pagbasa Volunteer will be featured at DepEd Region V FB Page. A Regional Project Monitoring Conference will be held as indicated in the timeline in Enclosure No. 1. The top 3 divisions with the highest number of volunteers until June 17, 2021, 12 midri awarded with prizes from the partner, City Savings Bank, Inc. 4.
