Honourable Principal Indus Public School, the most venerated teachers and my dear fellows.

ASSALAM U ALIKUM

Today I feel honoured and humbled at the same time to have got the opportunity to talk on the
importance of a Teacher. A teacher.... who is a torch bearer of a nation.... A teacher .... who
burns himself to ignite the lives of others. A teacher... who awkens the people from their deep
slumber of ignorance to the world of knowledge and wisdom. A teacher... who takes us from the
abyss of darkness to zenith of light .

Yes my dear felows ,

A teacher is a person who makes us dream and inspires us to fulfill those dreams... A dream to
become a doctor, .. a dream to become an engineer, a dream to become a lawyer, a scientist,
and a dream to change the course of future. A teacher is the only person in your life after
parents who truly wishes to see you a successful person .

my Fellows, We owe our lives to our great teachers. teachers are the backbone of our society.
No nation can progress without efficient and qualified teachers. Teachers plya a vital role in the
character building of our young generation .. they dont simlpy give us knowledge they believe
in us and instill positive values in our minds so that we can be good members of society.

taking advantage of this opportunity i express my utmost gratitude to my all teachers. I would
end my speech by dedicating a few verses of poetry to my teachers.
