Civil Engineering 01 -
Experience:
15- Years teaching/research experience in a recognized Institution/College/ University or 15-years professional experience in the relevant field
in a National or International organization out of which 5-years must be teaching experience.
Electrical Engineering 01 - Note:- 8-years experience at the post-Ph.D. level in HEC recognized University or a post – graduate institution or professional experience in
the relevant field in a National or International organization will be required.
OR
10-years post-Ph.D. teaching/research experience in an HEC recognized University or a post-graduate Institution or professional experience in
the relevant field in a National or International organization.
Publication:
15 research publications with at least 5 publications in last five years in HEC/PEC recognized journals .

 Note:-

1. All the existing employees who are below 55 years of age are required to compete against the regular positions.
2. The faculty members who are working on contract/adhoc/IPFP basis should apply against above regular positions. If they fail to apply or are not
selected in recruitment process, their contract shall stand terminated.
3. For the posts of Associate Professor and Professor, candidates having Ph.D degree are encouraged to apply for Tenure Track positions as per Higher
Education Commission’ s instructions.
4. Registration with PEC is mandatory for all positions except for the positions of Department of Technical Education.
GENERAL INFORMATION
 Only short listed candidates will be called for Test / Interview.
 Name of Post and Quota (where quota exists) should be mentioned on application and left corner of the envelope
with block letters as well.
 The prescribed application forms can be downloaded from University of Sargodha website: www.uos.edu.pk.
 Candidates for all positions are required to fill the application form in MS Word and submit three copies in case
of Professor & Associate Professor and one copy of application in case of others along with complete C.V and attested copies of testimonials in both hard and
soft form (CD/DVD).
 Candidates applying for more than one post shall submit separate applications with necessary documents,
complete in all respects.
 Applications must be accompanied with original bank deposit slip/University Challan Form of Rs. 1000/- in case
of Professor & Associate Professor and Rs.500/- in case of others as processing fee (non-refundable), to be deposited under Head of Account “Collection” in
HBL A/C No. 00427991777803 University of Sargodha.
 Two most recent passport size photographs should be affixed on each application.
 Candidates already in service of a Government/Semi-Government Department or an Autonomous Body must
apply through proper channel by the due date; otherwise their applications shall not be entertained.
 Applications received after the last date will not be entertained; even if posted before the closing date.
 Incomplete applications shall also not be entertained.
 Last date for submission of applications for Professor & Associate Professor is 31.01.2018 and for others is
29.12.2017.
 The University reserves the right not to consider any application or fill any post without giving any reason.
