Institute of Heart Health and Vitality
Quick Summary
Is your heart in tip-top shape? The muscular organ is the reason for our survival,
beating 100,000 times a day to supply oxygen to all parts of our body. You might
say that the heart is the "engine of life." Without it, our bodily functions cannot
perform. This vital organ is necessary for our livelihood. Therefore, how do you
ensure the utmost well-being of your circulatory system?
Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death in the world. People of all ages and
backgrounds can be affected by the condition. An estimated 17.5 million people died
from CVDs in 2012, representing 31% of all global deaths. Of these deaths, an estimated
7.4 million were due to coronary heart disease and 6.7 million were due to stroke.
This makes YOU as vulnerable to this disease as anyone else on this planet. These
statistics are not picked off the ground. They are REAL numbers reported from official
health organisations.
I want to tell you that your body belongs to you and no one else is obligated to help you
take care of it. If you neglect your health, your health will make you suffer for it in many
worse ways. If you are in your teens, it does not mean you are less likely to contract
cardiovascular problems. In fact, heart disease in youth is on the rise.
It is not within my intention to frighten you with numbers or make you feel intimidated.
Instead, I want to bring your attention to the importance of maintaining healthy
cardiovascular conditions.
But I will have you know I am not a doctor. And I am not here to give you any medical
advice. Almost everyone who writes about anything to do with a medical subject always
tells you to "check with your doctor before following this or any other diet or health
regimen." Is this good advice? In my opinion, the answer is not always yes. Why then,
does nearly everyone who writes about health include a phrase about seeing your doctor
first?
The answer is easy: It is a disclaimer. And truth is, I am no different from them. But here
is the important thing:
Does that mean what I am about to reveal to you in this exciting report is any less
meaningful or truthful?
Far from it. The fact is the information you are about to learn will transform your life.
And I am dead serious about it.
If something went wrong with your heart, would you know it? In fact, the question is, do
all heart problems come with clear warning signs? The answer is no. There is not always
an alarming chest clutch followed by a fall to the floor like you see in movies. Some heart
symptoms do not even happen in your chest, and it is not always easy to tell what’s
going on.
Chest Discomfort
It is the most common sign of heart danger. If you have a blocked artery or are having
myocardial infarction (commonly known as a heart attack), you may feel pain, tightness,
or pressure in your chest.
Angina is chest pain or discomfort when your heart muscle is not getting enough oxygen-
rich blood.
Also, keep in mind you can have heart problems - even a heart attack - without chest
pain. That is particularly common among women.
Heart failure occurs when the heart is unable to pump sufficiently to maintain blood flow
to meet your needs. We experience shortness of breath and fatigue that tends to
increase with more physical exertion.
Nausea
Nausea and vomiting is common with heart failure. Some people also experience a loss
or change in appetite. They may feel sick to the stomach even though they have not
eaten or eaten much.
This is largely because the heart is unable to supply enough blood to your stomach and
thus this interferes with your digestive system, making you feel unwell.
Dizzy Spells
With a heart disorder such as heart failure, there is a reduction of blood flow to the brain.
Easily, this causes fainting spells or light-headedness. A sudden loss of consciousness
usually means that the blood supply to the brain is seriously reduced.
The heart is unable to function normally and pump blood adequately because blood flow
is blocked, for example, by narrowing of a valve. It could also be due to a heart attack.
Do you find yourself breaking into cold sweat even when you are not exercising or being
active? Cold sweating or clammy skin are likely some symptoms of heart problem.
This is because your heart is exerting more effort than usual pumping blood through
clogged arteries, therefore your body will sweat more to try to keep your body
temperature down during the extra exertion.
Heart Palpitations
Heart palpitations are abnormal heartbeat sensations where the affected person
experiences a fast heartbeat rate. It comes without warning and suddenly. You feel
fluttering or "flip-flops" in your chest. These can be signs of arrhythmia, or abnormal or
irregular heartbeat.
If this phenomenon persists, you should consult your doctor for a heart evaluation. It may
be signs towards possible heart abnormality.
Knowing The Different Signs of Danger Your Body Is
Sending You
Next time, do not just dismiss a recurring chest pain with, “It will go away later.” Chances
are, you and I love to push ourselves to our limits, just to see where exactly our breaking
point is...
The above symptoms that I have mentioned may vary from person to person. This is
because we have different health conditions. For example, someone who has had a
heart attack may not have realized it was coming simply because we react differently to
danger. But no one knows your body better than yourself. I am here to remind you that
we have to pay more attention to our bodies and the messages they are sending to you.
If your body is telling you that there is something wrong, high chances are, there really is
something wrong with it.
How To Live A More Satisfied And Wholesome Life Today
There is no secret to loving our bodies. Our organs are like machine parts. They need
maintenance and care from time to time. With negligence and overworking without
sufficient rest, even the best machines fail some day.
Let me start with telling you a personal story of a heart failure survivor.
Mike was a husband and a father to 3 kids. One day, he had a heart attack while he was
clocking long hours at work and no one found him after a long time. He was taken to the
hospital when his co-workers found him but the doctor told them his condition would
have been less serious had he discovered his health condition earlier. The doctor found
out that Mike had clogged arteries due to his dangerously high cholesterol levels. After
his breakdown, he was unable to go back to his previous job because he was told not to
exert himself.
A typical heart-breaking story where the breadwinner of the family lost his ability to work
and feed his family after a lapse.
BUT what is not typical is when it actually happens on you. It comes suddenly and
without warning. In cases where it does come with warning, such as symptoms were
showing, we ignore or fail to address because of our busy and hectic lifestyles. Often, it
is our hectic lifestyles that create an unhealthy body because we lack in exercise and/or
do not watch our diets and eating habits.
Binge drinking, smoking, eating foods high in sugar, fat and salt content without a care in
the world…
For Mike and his family, his kids were young and they lost income. It was an agonizing
experience for them and their lives took a turn.
Therefore, I am going to come right out and voice this unpopular opinion:
First and foremost, the most important thing you can do is to make lifestyle changes
where necessary. If right now you are obese or overweight, drink too much alcohol
(especially beer), not exercising, not eating nutritious food and not getting enough
sleep, then you definitely want to look into this area.
Yes, it is not easy but the benefits are worth the effort. There are two areas you will
absolutely want to work on:
An Unhealthy Diet
A healthy diet is a major factor in reducing your risk of heart disease. Although you know
that certain foods can increase your heart disease risk, it is tough to change your eating
habits.
But we have to start somewhere. So I strongly urge you to toughen up and cut down on
consumption of foods high in sodium, fat and sugar and substitute them for healthier,
wiser choices.
Lack of Exercise
When we are struggling to meet sufficient 8 hours of sleep daily and usually burned out
after work, it may not be easy to squeeze in the time to work out.
But I hope you know the beneficial effects of exercise. It aids to strengthen your heart,
relieve stress, burn off fat and help you sleep better.
Being Overweight
A big belly is attributed to intra-abdominal fat. This fat affects our blood pressure; our
blood lipid levels and interferes with our ability to use insulin effectively. We use insulin
to process glucose derived from food, our body's primary fuel. If we cannot use insulin
properly we may develop diabetes, a risk factor of cardiovascular disease.
As we get fatter, our risk of developing Type 2 diabetes and hypertension rises steeply.
Smoking
Smoking increases blood pressure, decreases exercise tolerance and increases the
tendency for blood to clot. Smokers have a greater risk of cardiovascular disease due to
the contribution of fatty buildups in arteries.
Now that you are clearer about the symptoms of cardiovascular health problems and the
every day activities that are causing these problems, are you on the edge of your seat?
While it may be difficult to ask you to change your habits right now, we all have to start
somewhere.
I want to make it known to you that no dietary supplement or drug can save us from any
disease or illness if you are not going to supplement it with a healthy and proper diet,
exercise and a positive outlook towards life.
Here, my real intention is that I want to propose some solutions to help you on your way
to a more health-conscious and happier you.
In the section below, I am going to reveal some of the most potent supplements you can
take.
I only want to recommend to you the best origins for your health and I trust that you want
to have the best too. So I want to let you know that you have a solution within your
fingers’ reach. You can always come back to this report for reference or read again to
better understand more of cardiovascular problems. This is useful for any person with or
without cardiovascular problem, who may or may not have had some sort of
cardiovascular complication.
Strengthen Your Heart with Beta-Sitosterol, Policosanol, Berberine
and L-Arginine
While it may seem that we take our heart health for granted, we can cease this thinking
and start supplementing our every day lives. I am sure you want to feel stronger, have
more energy and stay up longer. Our heart health deteriorates as we grow older.
Therefore, we want to ensure the utmost well-being of our circulatory system by helping
our heart pump blood more efficiently.
Delicious foods are hard to resist, especially fast food. But they are loaded with saturated
and trans-fats that raise blood cholesterol levels. While we enjoy our processed and fast
foods, we have to keep in mind that we should consume them in moderation.
This not only keeps our body cholesterol at healthy levels, it puts us at lower risk of
cardiovascular disorders.
3. Promoting metabolism
Regulating lipid metabolism is important. Lipids are fats that are either absorbed from
food or synthesized by the liver. Triglycerides (TGs) and cholesterol contribute most to
disease, although all lipids are physiologically important.
However, we want to keep our lipids at optimum levels. Lipid metabolism has been
important in the role of fat digestion, controlling our cholesterol levels.
Buying Beta-Sitosterol
It has the ability to boost the immune system, lower cholesterol and help prevent
coronary heart disease (CHD).
Buying Policosanol
It also reduces your triglycerides, which is the technical term for fats. As mentioned,
triglycerides and fatty substances such as cholesterol are called lipids. Policosanol helps
by enhancing lipid metabolism.
Buying Berberine
Berberine, possibly the world’s most powerful supplement? Berberine, also a plant
extract, activates the enzyme AMP-activated Protein Kinase (AMPK) inside the cells,
which regulates metabolism and supports weight loss.
Similarly, Berberine helps to lower the total cholesterol, reduce LDL cholesterol, lower
blood triglycerides, raise HDL cholesterol, and lower apolipo-protein levels, resulting in
better cardiovascular health.
Buying L-Arginine
L-Arginine is a pre-cursor to nitric oxide (NO2), an important component that effects the
relaxation of endothelium, which is the thin layer of cells that lines the interior surface of
blood vessels and lymphatic vessels. Studies have shown that consumption of Arginine
may support cardiovascular health (healthy heart) and promote sports recovery and
muscle growth.
L-Arginine is a potent formula for boosting metabolism, regulating blood flow and
lowering pressure.

To Purchase Beta-Sitosterol
To Purchase Policosanol
By Joelbon, Minnesota
I have heart problems. It runs in my family. It is very important for people like me to stay on top of our
blood labs. If anything is out of sorts you need to work on getting them back into the normal range. I take
prescriptions for my cholesterol and triglycerides. I have had a really hard time getting and keeping my
cholesterol in the normal range.
When I saw this, I decided to give it a shot. I have been really surprised at my last doctor’s appt. My
cholesterol was in the normal range. I am not going to believe it until my next labs. If they are still in that
range then I will have found something that I will continue to take the rest of my life. I am extremely happy.
Highly recommended.

My mom and dad both have cholesterol and wanted to find a non-prescription pill to take. Our family tries
to avoid prescription medication as much as possible. When we found Policosanol and it was 100% natural
both of my parents were interested in trying this product.
We had no problem purchasing this product through amazon. It came without any problems and arrive
within two days. It came all nice and packed with bubble wrap.
This bottle will last my parents a half a month due to both parents trying this supplement. In this bottle it
has 30 Vegetarian Capsules. You take one pill per day. It is recommended to take this product with a meal.
If you are pregnant, nursing or have a health condition contact your doctor before using.
My parents both said the pill was easy to take and swallow. They said it did not leave any weird tasting in
their mouth after taking. They said when they were taking this product they did not notice any side effects.
No upset stomach after taking. This product helped my dad cholesterol go down and he was very happy
with the purchase and will continue with taking this supplement.
To Purchase Berberine
My normal brand of berberine is Glyco-X 500, but I am always looking for new ways to take my
supplements and it's rare that I am completely loyal to any one brand for any of my supplements. Glyco-X
also contains banaba leaf extract.
The dose per capsule of Pure Science Berberine is the same, 500 mg. However, Pure Science
recommends just one pill a day. With only 30 pills in the bottle, if you take 3/ day (as I do many days), this
bottle will only last about 10 days. Keep in mind that Pure Science actually touts their version for healthy
cholesterol metabolism and their dosing recommendations may be based on that purpose alone. If you do
chose to take up to 3 a day with meals, it will make it much more expensive using Pure Science with
current pricing (Aug 2015). Both are made in the USA, though Glyco-X also boasts being produced in a
GMP certified facility. Perhaps the biggest difference for me, though, is that Pure Science DOES use
magnesium stearate in their supplement. The other does not. Magnesium stearate is a controversial
ingredient in many supplements on the market today. Pure Science Berberine is 100% non-GMO and
vegan. They offer a 100% money guarantee if you are not satisfied.
I received this item for free in consideration of a fair and unbiased review, which I believe I have provided.
