The Best Teachers for All Seasons

A teacher is someone who always pushes students to do their best while at the
same time trying to make learning interesting as well as creative; they have a
responsibility to make sure that they make learning a positive experience for all. Going
along with this idea is the whole idea of the students being interested with every subject. I
can still remember my first day in LPU. My classmates and I first met Mr. Jong Bagay,
our teacher in Political Science. I was only in his class for about four months or so but it
was probably one of the most interesting yet sometimes the scariest one--but because of
that I found myself trying harder than I ever had. Mr. Jong is very simple but definitely
full of wisdom; he gave motivations for us to pursue the best, his thinking really opened
up my mind. Another one comes, Mr. Inocentes Legaspi, our teacher in History. Sir Ino
is a tall, dark and a funny person. He is young, clever, sympathetic, and likable. He uses
different tactics for us to learn in an interesting way, he is a very good person and as a
teacher, the most humane. Mr. Alexander Rodis, our teacher in NSTP. Sir Alex proves to
be a man of great perseverance. He manages to teach two sections at a time. He is very
patient, understanding and consistent. He is a skilful teacher and I knew it from the start.
Mr. Edison Leste, our teacher in Filipino. Sir S has definitely a unique character. He
knows when to laugh at himself and when to laugh with the class. He possesses great
strength of humour. He always acts like a friend, I’m happy he’s my teacher, he makes
learning easy and his lessons are fun, too! Mr. Changho Song, our teacher in Foreign
Language. Sir Song is very nice, kind and good. Even if this subject is very difficult to
learn, he never fails to make us see that if we work at it, we can do it. He always reminds
us that we are lucky because we had a chance to go to school. I would probably miss Sir
Song. Mr. Ronnie Alvarez, FS 101’s favourite teacher. He is our teacher in PE. He is a
mentor at the same time a friend. He is interesting and engaging,
positive, confident, yet unpretentious. He has a heart of compassion and encouragement,
he always believes in the best of us. I love Sir Ronnie! Engineer Rhia Espanto, our
teacher in Math. Ma’am Rhia is my most supportive teacher. She is caring, smart and
cute. She always makes her students to have interests in her subject. She’d help us love to
learn, her lessons are clear, she motivates us with great sincerity. She gives a hundred
percent time, energy and talent. I thank her for everything.

And now, my most admired teacher, Ms. Diana Rempillo, our very precious
Adviser. Ma’am Diana is a beautiful and intelligent woman. She’s my role model and she
inspires me. I always love her class, her teaching helps me see that to have a successful
future; learning is the key. She teaches us to dream, to work and to reach. I admire her
and I just want to say I want to be like her.
