ESSAY

Being a teacher is my ambition since childhood. Employment of teachers is a


very noble job. I chose to work as a math teacher because I believe I am more qualified,
skilled and strong interest in the subject. Thus, the employment of teachers is my best
choice.

I am a graduate student of Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2016 in the field of


science education. Therefore, I want to continue my career in this field to become math
teacher. In reading and listening, I want to gain experience and slight increase my
knowledge in science education. With experience and knowledge I acquired, I can learn
something new to become more mature and competent. I also really enjoy the
challenge. Besides that, job opportunities for teachers over the next 10 years will vary
from good to excellent, Depending on the place where the subject hire live and teach.
Some schools are having trouble finding enough teachers, especially in cities. Today,
many schools are looking for math and science teachers as well as teachers who speak
a foreign language and who can teach English as a second language. So, this is the
reason why i chose to be a math teacher.

I believe that I have excellent ability to concurrently manage classrooms of


children at varying levels, while meeting vigorous performance standards and
demanding schedules. As a teacher at Sek Men Sains Kuching, Sarawak, built a
structured, nurturing classroom environment utilizing the Peperiksaan Menengah
Rendah Results as a framework for helping each child realize their fullest potential. I
also have strong ability to individualize the curriculum to meet the needs of all levels of
students in the same classroom. As major strength that I would bring to the school
system is my successful experience as a full day secondary school teacher. With strong
communication, organizational, and classroom management skills, I am confident that I
can be a valuable asset to both the elementary team at school system. I feel that my
strong background in elementary education, ability to assimilate new ideas and
concepts, and dedication to student cam learn and with that belief, student do learn.

Teach three mathematics sections including Functions, Statistics and


Trigonometry. Design and present comprehensive lesson plans, ensuring that each
student is able to retain and understand the materials at hand-Develop unit-based
projects that are centered on real-world situations to show students the importance of
gaining a solid education and how Math correlates with everyday life, incorporate
various technologies in the classroom including ELMO, Digital Image Projector, TI-
83Plus and computer software. Collaborate with colleagues to integrate new activities
