3 PLACES TO VISIT IN DAPITAN CITY

Dapitan City, known as the “Shrine City of the Philippines” is located in the province of Zamboanga del Norte, Philippines.
Dapitan City is continuously attracting tourists for its historic preservation. As you enter Dapitan City, it feels like you’re in
the Spanish Era. There are a lot of Tourist Spots in Dapitan City but, I will only show you the places I’ve visited:

1. Rizal Shrine

Rizal Shrine is located 2 kilometers away from the city proper of dapitan. It is where Dr. Jose P. Rizal spent his life to the
fullest. This place is a 16-hectare estate where Dr. Jose P. Rizal bought when he won the lottery ticket. This is the place
where he cured and taught a lot of people. It is also the place where he was exiled. As you enter Rizal Park, you can see the
monument of rizal, the rizal museum and other parts of the place where he spent his life with Josephine Bracken. The
entrance fee is free but you should pay for your parking for only P20.00. A very affordable place to visit and spend time
with your family.

2. Gloria de Dapitan
Gloria de Dapitan is located in Sunset Boulevard, Dawo, Dapitan City. This tourist spot is well known for
being a world class commercial center in Dapitan City. Gloria de Dapitan is an amusement themed park in which
 every night there is a show for everyone who visits the said tourist spot. For only P1,000.00 you can enjoy all their rides
and ofcourse experience what it’s like inside a haunted house. With that P1,000.oo you can also enjoy the different
shows like “Joie De Vivre” and “Fire and Thunder” (shown on the picture.)

3. Dakak Beach Resort

Dakak Beach Resort is located in Dapitan, Dapitan City. It is a beach resort which has a lot of interesting things to be
experienced by the tourist. You can enjoy their ambiance there. It is a peaceful and quite place surrounded by nature. For just
P750.00 per head you can enjoy their white sand, slides, pools, restaurant and of course their beach.
