Gawad sa Manlilikha ng Bayan (GAMABA)


It is also called as the National Living Treasures Award which is given to Filipinos who spearheaded the practice, preservation and promotion
of the nation’s traditional folk arts. The conferment formally started in 1992 when Republic Act No. 7355 (The Manlilikha ng Bayan Act) was
enacted. The law designated the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCAA) as its implementing arm.
