AUGUST
Women’s Fellowship will be starting a new year on Wednesday,
August 7, 2019, at 7 p. m. in the Fellowship Hall. We will
introduce this year’s Bible study, “Love Carved in Stone: A Fresh
Look at The Ten Commandments” by Eugenia Anne Gamble. Join
us as we discover how this “love letter from God” can change the
way we look at and live in this world!
There will be no Fall Enrichment this year due to the Regional Meeting being
in Blowing Rock, North Carolina.
Nazareth Children’s Home has changed its name to
Nazareth Child & Family Connection, reflecting the
nonprofit organization’s expansion of services and
geographic market. Founded in 1906, Nazareth is a
nationally accredited organization providing a
continuum of care, including residential treatment,
therapeutic care, mental health and outpatient sub-
stance abuse care services to individuals in Rowan,
Davidson and Cabarrus counties. Nazareth Child and
Family Connection is one of the Homeland Ministries—
Neighbors in Need—that our Women’s Fellowship supports each year.

Hope to see all of you at Dot Lambeth’s 90th Birthday celebration on Sunday,
August 11, 2019, following the worship service.
We welcome anyone who would like to join the Women’s Fellowship. Come
and be blessed through group prayer and study and fellowship with others!

God bless you, 2019—2020 Officers

Rehab Center to sing songs with our beloved
member Gail Smith and some of her fellow
residents there. For more than an hour, with
Lavinia at the piano, residents joined in as the
church “choir plus” sang old favorites like
“Amazing Grace,” “In the Garden,” “Jesus
Loves Me,” “I’ll Fly Away,” and many more. It
is safe to say that all—visitors and residents
