B. Read the following paragraphs. What is being talked about in each part of travelogue? Explain it. (2 pts
each)
1. On the eve of my departure from India, I slipped out before dinner to shop for clothes with my twin brother,
Chris. The monsoons had broke out a few days ago, and the wind and rain were announcing their presence to
the traffic. Though the sun had set, the market lights were hanging along the street Chris and I could not name.

2. People in Lviv are friendly; you can always count on help, even if you don’t know Ukrainian. The people I
was talking to knew English quite well—knowledgeable enough to explain to me where I could go and what to
see. Even individuals who didn’t speak a word in English (mostly elderly people) still tried to help me out, using
gestures, loud articulation, and laughter, which was funny both for me and for them. Many townsmen smiled
without any obvious reason, though I arrived in Lviv the day before Christmas, so maybe this was the reason of
the peoples’ uplifted mood.

3. Overall from whatever experience I had had of the glimpses of Nepal so far, one thing I felt was most
certainly a feeling of utmost magic, something that I had never experienced so far. A beautifully fulfilling
experience if anything I may add. I can only imagine what other parts of Nepal may have to offer, if the glorious
mountains across Sandakphu, Kalipokhari and Jaobari were this beautiful.

C. Create a quotation about a lesson that you have learned from your past experiences and explain. (4 pts)
