Characteristics
w/c – value
Recommendation: 0.36 up to max. 0.44, average 0.4
Flowability
1)
Test Method Immediately 30 Minutes after mixing At the outlet opening
acc. to EN 445 after mixing or injecting of the casing tube
Time (in sec.) Time (in sec.) Time (in sec.)
Immersion device ≥ 30 ≤ 80 ≥ 30
2)
Discharge hopper ≤ 25(30) ≤ 25 ≥ 10
1) The Mixing time has to be measured when all required substances are in the mixing machine.
2) For injection grout, which is prepared in certain mixers with high stirring speed, should the specified time limits
should be increased up to 200s for immersion devices and up to 50s for outlet hoppers. The mixing machines and
these limits must be agreed by the responsible authority.

Water separation and volume change

With a 100ml measuring cylinder (∅=25mm; h=250mm or ∅=50mm; h=200mm) filled with
95-100ml grout, the water separation shall be less when 2% of the starting volume in 3h. The
volume changing must be between -1% up to +5%.
Compression Strength
It is allowed to test prisms (40x40x160mm) or cylinders (∅=100mm, h=80 mm).
